Meet the Business Owner
Skip S.
Business Owner
Our Owner Skip Sgarlata, graduated from high school in 1972 and attended Schenectady Community College for four months leaving to join his mom and dad in the business. The 1970’s were extremely busy and his parents definitely needed the help.
In the early 1980’s Skip started to do off premise catering that grew to be one of the largest parts of the business. Some of the interesting places we have been are Canfield Casino, Great Escape, The Mohegan Steamship boat on Lake George and Howe Caverns. We have catered off premise events for groups up to 1,200 people.
Today we continue to cater both on and off premise. In the past few years, we have gone through major renovations to make the River Stone Manor one of a kind. In 2015 we celebrate our 12th year in business.
