Ramesh West Indian American Grocery Store

My biggest problem with Ramesh’s is the location, not only is it int Schenectady but it is in one of the shadier parts of the city. It is also off the beaten path. I worry about its survival because the location sucks.
Ramesh is a small West Indian Grocery Store, that carries processed goods, along with some produce and meat. The fresh produce section is somewhat limited, but they do have the staples like some ground provision and hot peppers. They only had habaneros, while other West Indian stores would have two or three varieties of hot peppers. C’est la vie. Ramesh does shine when it comes to procesed goods, pepper sauce, jerk marinade, casareep, dried sorrel etc. This is undoubtedly their strong point, and the best reason for making the trek to this store. They also sell meat, they have advertised specials but I was not sure when I would get home and did not check out these offerings.
A worthy try, it would be good if it was in a better area.
