Just had dinner there last night and was blown away by the fantastic food! I enjoy all types of cuisine but wasn’t familiar with Persian food until now and I’m now a huge fan! The staff is very friendly and professional. I really liked the new location and beautiful modern décor. We had a table by the big front window which was delightful. They have plans for a front patio which will be really nice. We shared 3 appetizers — a cucumber salad with mint and a lemon dressing, a pureed eggplant spread that was to die for and a yogurt cucumber dipping sauce(similar to Greek tzatziki). All were amazing. For a main course I had a chicken dish that had the most moist chicken I have ever had, all in a rich flavorful sauce. Both main courses were served with rice and a small side salad with a dressing that might of had tahini and lemon. My rice also had tiny berries on top that were delicious. I’d try anything here and plan on returning in the near future!

Authentic middle eastern food with great service with a smile. We go often and enjoy every time. If you are a foodie or just want to try something different, we would highly recommend this place.

The nicest thing about this place is the owners. They were both from Iran, owner and I think daughter not sure. They use to be on Jay St but moved over to Union St. What a great idea as this area is fast becoming restaurant row of lower Union St. The place is very nicely decorated, clean and tablecloths on the table with charger and cloth napkins. They also had a card describing the Persian history very interesting.
As soon as we walked in the owner had us sit at the most desireble table near the window and(I think) daughter took our drink order. I ordered Joojeh Kabob which was chicken served with rice grilled tomato and a small spicy salad for $ 12 which I thought was a reasonable price for the amount I received. The salad dressing especially was delicious. My DH had Chenjeh Kabab which was lamb served with rice, grilled tomato and small salad also $ 13. I should have ordered Persian Tea as they had a very ornate tea server. I love tea! Maybe next time. Another thing I liked they offered vegetarian on the menu which maybe my son would enjoy. Will have to bring him here when he comes home.

We were super excited to try Persian Bite based on the other reviews. I was disappointed. The wine menu is terrible. There are a total of maybe 5 wines, all of which are Yellowtail or Barefoot. I am not a wine snob by any means, but I would have liked the option to pay a bit wore for something of slightly higher quality. We ordered the eggplant appetizer. You can see the kitchen staff from the dining room. I noticed the kitchen staff putting dishes into the microwave and thought it was odd. Then, my fiancé and I watched as the staff pulled something out of the microwave and brought it straight to our table(our appetizer). This appetizer was not very good. We are both flexible pescatarians(basically vegetarians who also eat fish). There were basically no vegetarian or seafood entrees on the menu. We gave in and ordered the meat kebobs. The beef and lamb kabob was very good. The chicken had way too much pepper. Finally, the restaurant overcharged us. I corrected them and they adjusted out bill. By the way, the restaurant does not have itemized receipts…

The exterior does not do the interior justice. This is a lovely place, reminding us of the beautiful culture of Iran. The menu is simple, the food delicious, subtly spiced and nicely presented. We were there for lunch but I’ll return with friends for dinner.

We just left this restaurant! I can’t say enough about how amazing the food and the customer service was! The food was delicious, I’ve had Persian food many times at different restaurants, this by far was my favorite. Reza the owner was so personable and greeted us as soon as we walked in. I definitely recommend this place, you will fall in love with Persian food once you try their food.

Grabbed lunch from here two days I was in the area. I called ahead for pick up. It was ready & packed nicely within 10 mins. of the call. I tried both their veggie & eggplant wraps and cucumber salad. The service and ambience appeared to be very nice. Makes me want to come back for dinner.

Fine Persian restaurant that has moved uptown from Jay Street. Kebabs, wraps, chicken tikka, soups and Persian bread served in a cozy setting. Very reasonable prices and prompt expert service. Try the in house salad dressing and dessert. Delicious Persian black tea. Welcome addition to the growing Union Street restaurant row just below Union College.
