History

Established in 1982.

The Company was started by Scott Johnson after leaving the Marine Corps by selling magnetic media from CDC to door to door to local businesses. As the PC market developed Omnis started to sell hardware. As selling computer hardware became more of a commodity market Omnis started servicing computers and printers. As the industry has changed Omnis too has changed direction. Today Omnis is about 70% service and support. With 9 employees.

Business Owner

Born and raised in Schenectady. Attended Albany academy and Niskayuna Schools. Went to college in Key West Florida. Then worked as a service representative for Dorp Travel for about 2 years. Then joined the USMC attained rank of seargent. Finished 4 years in the USMC. Started Omnis Computers.
