Ron makes curly hair feel glamorous after 40+ years of trying to straighten, tame or hide it in a ponytail. He is always educating his client. He goes out of his way to be professional from beginning to end. I am surprised he hasn’t been stolen from us in this area … To work with rich and famous who have curly hair. He is amazing.

Had my initial cut yesterday. Walking in, my hair was the *hottest* mess as it’s super thick with a couple of different curl/​hair textures going on. Not to mention the top layer is so straight from pulling it into a braid/​ponytail almost daily since it’s summer. Add to that, I hadn’t had it cut in 4 months! Blech!
Anyway – Ron tamed the rat’s nest on top of my dome, gave explicit direction on how to properly maintain it and, best part of all, gave me great hair and HOPE that with time and diligence, my curls will become more uniform. (The gross straight part on top can be coaxed to become more like the beautiful curls that lie beneath.) I’m sure that there will be a learning curve, a period of trial and error, and it will take some serious self control not to want to pull the straighter limp stuff back but I re-​booked and can’t wait to see Ron’s instruction pay off!
***sidenote: as someone who has to maintain credentials for their profession, and also has to combat other professionals that claim to know what I know without a fraction of the education I’ve gone through — I completely respect Ron’s dedication to his «craft» through frequent continuing education on how to maintain curly hair. He is beyond legit!

I had my first curly haircut last week and so far am very happy! Ron is fabulous. He took the time to explain what he was doing and went thru the whole tutorial on how to do it myself. Of course that part is still a work in progress! :) YouTube videos help to remind and reinforce what he taught. I am sure I will get there… I will definitely be back and recommend to other curly hair friends!

Ron is a true master of curls. He will hydrate your hair to heaven and bring the bounce into your step. A hair session with Ron should be on your bucket list.

I recently had the privilege of watching Rons work at a curly hair artistry event I attended. He was teaching a class on cutting and styling. He is truly a master of his craft– his hair cut was beautiful and the styling was just amazing! Anyone with curly hair would be amazed at the magic this man works– very talented!!!

Ron is the master of curly hair! I have been searching in the capital region for someone who understands my hard to manage hair and he is the real deal. I’ve been going to Ron for a few years now and am so happy. He is very patient and takes the time to show you how to use the products he recommends and how to style your hair. He’s got a great personality and sense of humor. Since meeting Ron, my hair is softer, less frizzy, needs to be cut less often & has very few dead ends. I get lots of compliments and all of the people I’ve recommended to Moisture are happy as well. Ron is the best!

I was recommended to Ron by a friend of mine. I was apprehensive having my hair cut when dry and curly, but her hair looks fantastic so I took a chance. Ron took his time cutting my hair and what a difference! I began using the Deva products and my hair isn’t dry and crunchy like it used to be when I was using Tigi products.
