I had been to several doctors over the past two years for the same issue, and not one asked me to come back to check on my progress, or asked if the issue had been resolved. Because of this, I just assumed that the treatment did not work and there wasn’t much else I could do, since every other doctor told me I had some sort of allergy. Well, two years later, I still have the same problem, so I decided to go to a REAL eye doctor (an ophthalmologist), not an optometrist or a general practitioner, leading me to Dr. Tanenbaum.
Dr. Tanenbaum is wonderful. Rarely do you get a doctor that will take the time to talk to you and really try to understand what is causing your problems. Most just want to prescribe you something and send you on your way, at least in my experience. Dr. Tanenbaum actually cares and wants to make sure you get better, scheduling follow-​ups as needed until your problem is resolved. He also took the time to make sure all my questions were answered. I’m so grateful to have found him — more doctors should be as thorough as Dr. Tanenbaum!
