BL’s Tavern

BL’s is just a corner bar in the Stockade, Schenectady. We stopped in as we were going to have something to eat and drinks then have a meeting about our cruise with friends. Kitchen was only cooking fried foods so we had a drink and left… They don’t have much of a menu maybe another time will try out their food…

Enjoy dropping into BLs once a week or so. The burgers are good. Been there when it was slow or busy and everyone has always been very friendly. Not from here and no one has ever treated me like an outsider.

Enjoyed myself! Best wings in town! Love being able to walk there, they don’t take debit cards but they do have an arm machine available and prices are good!
Update I still think the wings are great but the client tell are all locals who have been there forever! They were rude and disrespectful and if they don’t think you fit in or are new boy they treat you like crap! I have tried to go back a few times because it is a block away but I have too many other places to go that I don’t need to go and be treated badly by anyone!

Wow, talk about rude! The space is actually quite nice, but the rude ownership will make us NEVER go back again. There was a slight misunderstanding when it came to the dart machine (yes, the owner got upset over the dart machine) and instead of explaining it nicely, the owner ripped the darts out of our hands and got super angry… that’s not how you treat customers! In a nutshell, the owner is an angry old man that seriously has some issues he needs to work out… patrons beware!

We love BL’s tavern! They have Garofalo sausage patties, yum!, and a great beer selection.
Chill place to hang out and play some tunes on the juke box! We loved being able to walk here when living in the Stockade — we miss it!
