Rich gives great advice, and sells fine products for back country and regular cross country skiing, canoeing, and kayaking. This is a full service outfit, not a chain store. He’s an active member of the ADK, leading XC ski trips and paddling VERY frequently.

Went in looking for a new boat. Salesman was not helpful and indifferent. He lost the sale. Customer service needs to be priority. This place is not recommended.

Canoes, kayaks, cross country skis and snowshoes, the guy who owns this shop enjoys using them all and he likes getting people involved in the sports. They carry a good selection of accessories, too. The shop itself is fairly small, so they seem to focus on good equipment that the owner has tried and likes. They aren’t going to carry everything under the sun.
