Renaissance Med Spa

I just read some of the review posted and honestly I am shocked! I have been going to this spa for over ten years. I have never once been put on hold for longer than a minute or two. The staff is always very kind and friendly. They always take time out to answer my questions and talk about any concerns I have to a procedure. I have also been seen by at least three or more doctors in the last ten years. They were always professional and took out the time to ask questions and answer mine. I would recommend this spa to anyone. I also can say that their prices are reasonable compared to many places.

I literally went into a local Facebook group I’m part of, looking for a recommendation on a Med Spa — and I couldn’t be more pleased with the suggestion of Renaissance Med Spa.
She told me Theresa was an «artist» and she wasn’t lying. She was knowledgeable, friendly, took her time and genuinely knew what she was doing.
I am now 24 hours into my procedure and can already see the results I’ve come accustomed to expect, and I could not be happier.

EDIT — I’m now a week into my treatment and I’m absolutely tickled pink. I really had thought these treatments had stopped working on me. Nonsense! I finally found another Spa that I can trust, with results that I can count on. You guys are awesome!

I’ve been self conscious about my Rosacea for most of my adult life. I’ve tried everything to get rid of it, antibiotics, face washes, constant sunscreen and every moisturizer available. Finally, a friend recommended that I visit Lisa at Renaissance Med Spa. I’m so glad that I listened! Lisa was incredibly personable, helpful and knowledgable about the photo facial procedure. She was able to ease my worry and set me up with Tina for a consultation. After just two sessions with Tina I noticed visible improvement. With five, my skin issues seem to have vanished. To say that visiting the ladies at Renaissance Med Spa has been life changing might sound a tad dramatic, but that’s how I feel. I’ve never felt so confident! I highly recommend Renaissance for all of your skin care needs. I know that I’ll be going back for hair removal in the near future.

I can’t say enough about Theresa. She is kind, very knowledgable about the products, and extremely helpful. I have been in several times for skin treatments and fillers and can’t imagine going anywhere else!

I have been coming to Woman Care at the Schaumburg location for years. Dr. Cucco is the best. He always made my annual exam easy and comfortable.
I just recently began seeing a fertility specialist, Dr. Michelle Pieper. She is great. Very knowledgable. She took a terrifying idea and explained everything and made it easy to comprehend. She is very confident with her work.
I love this place and would recommend it to anyone looking for a doctor for any lady issues/​problems/​checkups etc.

I guess it is all a matter of prospective and experience. I am an experienced Med spa client. Have been to 4 other providers before settling on Renaissance as my go-​to place. I am 50+ and therefore am focused on looking younger. I use both Botox and Radiesse. They have been amazing. Theresa is an artistic genius. She gives great advice and suggestions but is fine if you decide not to do what is discussed. My face always looks natural. I hate that frozen face look and have never found that to be the case here.
I often use a Groupon special or an in-​house special. Have never found any difference in the service between specials and full price. Everyone is courteous and very approachable. I’m committed.

I recently had fracture resurfacing — by In Mode done on my face. Theresa, was the technician that did the treatment and she is fantastic! I bought a package and I will have at least 3 treatments before I am finished. It is supposed to tighten the skin, work on fine lines and wrinkles, reduce pores, and build collagen. I have had many people ask me if I had plastic surgery or what I am doing. My cheeks look fuller, my lips look fuller and the skin around my chin that was starting to sag a bit is nice and tight. I feel so much better looking in the mirror and all the positive feedback makes it even better!
Theresa will numb your face with lidocaine — that takes about an hour. The actual procedure takes about 20 minutes or so. I was a little swollen for a couple of days and felt like I had a small sunburn. If you decide to have this done, just do it on a weekend that you don’t have many plans. Really the worst part for me is the day of the procedure you have ointment on your face and so you don’t want to go out in public.
If you are like me and your getting a little older and just want to look and feel better about yourself — DO THIS! you won’t be disappointed.

I have been going to this office for years. After reading all these negative reviews, I feel compelled to write a good one.
First of all – the staff here is great, with one exception whom I try to avoid.
Lisa, the office manager and receptionist is nice and accommodating, probably not over the top friendly; but knowledgeable, professional and courteous, which is really all I need.
All the technicians are friendly, friendly and helpful. I have signed up for packages for laser and chem peel and they have suggested I postpone if I am going on vacation or will be in the sun. They are definitely more interested in me as a client then just trying to make money off of me.
Theresa, the RN who administers injections is fantastic. Again, never trying to sell more than needed, always suggesting specials or deferring procedures based on life events. All of her work is very natural. I have even called for her opinion on other matters and she is helpful and honest.
I would highly recommend this office, and believe me, I am a tough customer.

Used to go to WomanCare for regular checkups and exams. (Now I go to a REAL obgyn.) However, I get spam from this «Med Spa» and I’m not their customer.
Just got spam that said «LIKE US ON FACEBOOK TO BE ENTERED TO WIN BOTOX»… Um… is this how a «reputable» business should be going about getting «good» reviews? This is pathetic! How could anyone trust this business or their reviews? How sad! Shame on you!!! Learn how to really create loyal customers from giving good treatment – not by throwing out freebies!

I wasn’t too impressed. This place offered me a free facial because I have my doctors office next door to them. They were for the most part un enthusiastic to even be there, the staff is rude and under average with being courteous, the services were lacking professionalism and kindness. I went to them for a basic facial, two massages, laser hair treatment (Brazilian), and a consultation for under eye treatments. I haven’t returned and don’t plan to. I really wanted them to be outstanding because they were so close but I didn’t get the feel my business mattered. Only 50% of my hair is gone and It was not an experience I’d do again with them after reading all the reviews. You can hear what’s going on outside of your room when getting services done and it’s not the place for a quiet retreat. The place is much more of a medical feel. They don’t call to confirm appointments, but did offer a text confirmation service once I asked because I’m forgetful. I am still learning about way to beautify so I’m unsure if their prices are good but I don’t think these services are worth any amount of money or discount.

I have been a happy Renaissance Med Spa customer for over 4 years and received great chem peels and Botox treatments. I too bought packages and always receive great service and an ease of scheduling appointments. The spa has always been on time for my appointment and graciously accommodated me if I was occasionally tardy.
In my youth I never thought I would be getting Botox but I was finding myself avoiding the mirror because I didn’t want to see the lines between my eyebrows. After my first Botox treatment I was thrilled and felt more confident in my appearance. I have seen other friends get Botox specials elsewhere and their Botox’d area looked poor. Professional Botox at Renaissance is the way to go!

PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! This written by my girlfriend. I went here for laser treatments because the price seemed great with a 2 year guarantee. First of all they don’t do a through job when you get treatments done. I felt like they were leaving gaps of space that wasn’t treated. So when my initial treatments were over I went back for touch ups because the hair grew back in patches. It looked like I had gotten a shitty job of laser removal done. It was hideous. So when I went back for touchups the staff was very rude about me coming in. They would say I can’t get any less of hair reduction even though that was a damn lie. Different techs would do the laser treatments and each one was very rude. They would be very stern with me about me coming in when they felt there was nothing more that could be done, I was still in my 2 year guarantee period mind you. I’ve seen friends who’ve had better results else where. When I would be in their waiting room to get treatments I would hear the techs talking crap about other customers. As soon as they would hang up the phone with someone the shit talking would start and in front of other customers. The staff is trash. They also mess up you appointments and charge you for it even though it was their mistake. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!

HUGE waste of time and money (a lot of money, over $ 1000!). After MANY laser hair removal treatments and touch ups, I barely see a difference. Scheduling appointments was quite frustrating too.

Excellent staff, excellent customer service, and excellent products. Went for a laser treatment and botox. Awesome environment, nice office, and generous pricing. Highly recommended!

I have been going to the renaissance spa for a year now for laser hair removal. I’m very impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. Being a male, I have never felt uncomfortable about being in a predominantly female environment. I see Tina for my shoulder/​neck laser hair treatments and she is very thorough and friendly. She has taken great care of me. I always feel like I’m receiving a safe and effective treatment. I highly recommend this med spa.

Unfortunately — I have to give up their great technician, but I can’t take the stress of getting irritated everytime I try to call and I’m left on hold for an eternity, or I call and there is no way to leave a message. This is how paying customers are treated.

I definitely needed to get this review out to people who would be interested in coming here to make sure they don’t waste their time or money.
I bought a Laser Hair removal package on Living Social for here back last June. It was a good deal and now I know why.
I just had my last (8^th) session for both areas that I purchased. I thought laser hair removal would actually remove the hair and prevent most, if not all, hair from growing back. Wrong. I still have hair in all the places I had laser treatment. At best, it’s maybe a 50% reduction. I am not a very hairy person to begin with so that couldn’t even be an argument.
During my last session I come to find out that their guarantee which is 2 years of hair free is not the case if you bought a package on Social or Groupon. Such a shady practice. They lure you in with a deal and they don’t even guarantee their work since you paid a discounted price? That’s such garbage! I will have to pay additional if I want to come back for touch ups. No thanks! I’m not in the mood to pay them even more money for nothing!
Service here is terrible, too. Most of the workers are rude and have major attitudes. I have no idea why. They definitely have no reason to be. Tina was one of the rudest estheticians I have ever encountered. Her demeanor is awful and she clearly has no people skills. One of the receptionists booked my second session appointment wrong in the computer. I had their card with the appt time written down as proof that I was right. She was arguing with me that I had it wrong, not her. Really?! Clearly there was no training here on customer service.
So my «deal» on Living Social was no deal at all. I just wasted $ 300 and 10 months of sessions for virtually no hair removal at all.
Save your time and money and avoid this place at all costs!

I am a new client (told them I am a new client) and they so greatly proceeded to treat me by putting me on hold for 23 minutes and then leaving. I hung up, called again and the automated machine said they were closed and business hours are until 5pm today. IT IS 2pm! WTF Well I knew they were connected to WomanCare so I called them and asked them what is going on over there, and told them I’d been on hold for 23 minutes. The nice lady (Pam) was astonished, «What?! you were what?!» So she found out what was going on and then connected me to someone who was there. That lady told me that there was no one at the desks and they SHUT OFF THE PHONES because no one was there. So she told me that someone put me on hold and then LEFT! ARE you kidding me?! THIS is how you treat a NEW client?! Nice. real nice. Classy and professional. NOT. Just rude, waste of my time.
