Pooch Pawlor

Wow. Anna is incredible and I wouldn’t have found her if it wasn’t for Unilocal.I recently adopted an adorable male Havanese named Teddy and he needed his first hair cut.
Since I’ve never enjoyed a dog with grooming needs, I had a lot of questions. Anna explained everything to me and we quickly set up an appointment.
The shop is very cute and easy to find. It has a white picket fence out front for potty breaks, which is a great thing. Anna welcomed us right away and so did a few doggie bouncers.
She asked what I was looking for and we agreed on a cut. I felt very comfortable leaving him with her for his first time and she assured me she would take special care of him :)
I couldn’t believe my eyes when I first saw him! I was worried he would be cut too much, losing all that puppy cuteness. Anna knows what she is doing and she’s so caring in the process. He smelled so good and was the softest ever. His cut was perfect, not too much, and he even has bangs. But good bangs :) and now I can see his saucer eyes.
Great prices too, and she made a good recommendation for a comb for regular brushing. Teddy was so happy when I arrived, didn’t seem stressed at all, I could tell he enjoyed his time there. That’s saying a lot considering the strange experience of a bath and blow dryer for the first time.
We will be coming in every four weeks like clockwork and we cannot wait! Thank you Anna!

Outstanding! Finally, Schaumburg has a good dog groomer. I had gone to a place in Roselle but they kept switching groomers, and none of the successors ever matched the original (who moved out of state, blah!), so I decided to scope out the groomers of Schaumburg again. Thank goodness for Anna.
I have tried a couple other groomers in S-​Burg and they didn’t fare well. One of the worst groomers I have ever taken my dog to is right down the road from here… so I feel like this is the heavens apologizing to me and plopping a great groomer right down in front of me to make up for the horrible one — does that make sense? Sorry for rambling, but I feel like this is a «Sorry about that, but here ya go!» type of thing.
Anyway, so glad to have found Anna at Pooch Pawlor. My dog is ALMOST back to lookin’ as good as he did when he was seeing my original groomer, the one I am still in mourning over. But Anna is a dang good consolation prize!

Anna, the owner and groomer at the Pooch Pawlor is fantastic. I take both of my dogs to her. One of them is a little more difficult while being groomed and she handles him very well. The dogs don’t get kenneled up before and after their grooming. Instead she lets them play and interact with the other dogs that are at the Pawlor. We recently moved about a half hour from the Pawlor and I haven’t even looked for another groomer. I definitely plan on continuing to take them to Anna!
