Syed and his team at Phontronics are awesome. I took me phone to a different phone repair store and they broke my phone even more. When I brought my phone here they were able to fix all the damaged that the other store made. Phontronics team was very professional and I will recommend anyone that needs to get their phone replaced to come here.

App 3mos ago I went to this location to fix my iPhone6. I spent approximately $ 400. The owner informed me that they have warranty on the work they do for up to 90 days. I started having issues with the phone within the 90 day window. I kept using the phone until the phone started falling apart so I decided to take the phone in. The 2nd I arrived the owner started pointing out things that had nothing to the with the reason I was there. He stared quoting my some ridiculous fees on how much it’ll cost to repair the phone after all the money I’ve spent less than 3 months ago. Basically he lied about the warranty and he was only trying to get me to pay an additional $ 220+ to repair my phone. I took my phone and left. He may think that he came up one the 1st time but it’s fine. It’s my loss. Just will never send someone there again.

I had an issue with my IPhone 5C starting last night when it wouldn’t charge. I contacted Apple this morning and the earliest appointment I could get was 2 ½ days later. It is a business phone and I couldn’t wait that long. I contacted Phontronics and was in their Schaumburg office 25 minutes later. It turned out to be a real quick fix and they didn’t charge me for it. They were fast, responsive and professional. I know where I am going with my next cell phone issue.

Syed, the owner was so helpful. He responded to my email for a quote very quickly. I went in to get a phone repaired for my fiancé. After a lot of back and forth on the phone with him, he decided to get a new phone. But Syed was so incredibly patient and understanding which I really appreciated. I went in with an issue with my iPhone screen separating from the frame. I was figuring on a 110 dollar repair. When I arrived I was told I needed a new battery. Now I anticipated a 160 dollar repair. Turns out my battery was swelled and could have exploded. I walked out with my phone repaired for 40 dollars. Honesty and quality service. You can’t ask for more than that.

I was in need of a new glass screen on my iPhone5 after dropping it on the street over the weekend. Obviously not a great situation, but was quoted $ 110 for a new screen minus $ 10 for a Unilocal discount. Turns out my phone needed a new battery and also I opted for a protective glass cover on top of my phone, for «Just in case» situations.
All in, cost me $ 155. I consider this a bargain because I don’t want to get a new phone. Plus, I’m in and out of there in just under an hour. Great service, good pricing, and a 90 day warrantee for anything that goes wrong. I will gladly recommend this small business to anyone that has issues with their phone or electronics.

5 stars for service, value, location, and quality of work. I had the pleasure of working with these guys because I dropped my phone in the throne (freak accident really). The inside of my iPhone 6s was totally drenched in toilet water. My phone stopped working after 8 hours of the accident. I brought it in 16 hours later on Christmas Eve with no hopes of getting it fixed. But the girl’s gotta try right? I was given a 30% chance of survival. 3 hours later, I got a call back letting me know I can pick up my phone fully functional! WOWserrrrs!!!
These guys are the best! They’re friendly, fast, courteous, knowledgeable, and AWESOME!

After waiting in line at Best Buy’s Geek Squad, never receiving help, I decided to give up on that madness and go with a smaller, local company. I am so glad I did!
Everything positive people have said in their reviews is true — the prices are great, the staff is really friendly, honest, and helpful, and the turnaround is fast. My computer is so old, but I refuse to buy a new one. The charging port and cable needed to be replaced. They were able to order the parts and fix everything within a week. It works perfectly! And there is a 90 day warranty. they were also able to sell me a used charging cable over a new one, which saved me money. It’s refreshing to find a company that is honest and really cares about the customer, not just making money.

Let the panic ensue…
Well, if you are in a similar situation, do not fret… Call phontronics for an appointment. I dropped my crippled phone at lunch and was given a quote. (It was $ 180 for the screen which was a much better price than the $ 220 that other outfits were charging.) The price was fair after Sherlock-​ing the price of the needed part online.
I came back after work a few hours later… and voila.
Screen was fully functional!
Now I could Unilocal from my phone again and my angst was settled.
It was doubly satisfying since I am going out of town this weekend and the issue was solved so efficiently.
Hooked on phontronics.
90 day warranty is the maraschino cherry on top.

The staff is very professional and knowledgable of ALL electronics. The first time I cracked the face of my cell, they offered me a competitive price and fixed within 30 mins. They had the parts in stock which was a Huge plus!
When you refer or a repeat customer they will offer a courtesy discount. My personal experience was great with these guys. I recommend this place and HIGHLY suggest getting the tempered glass/​plastic protector.

Great service & friendly staff! What drew me to this particular repair shop is that their rate is a flat $ 100 for a cracked iPhone 5s screen. Most places are also around this price (apple told me $ 130) but that’s not including taxes which could be up to another $ 10 in total. When I went to pay they gave me a referral card with a $ 10 off coupon, so I paid even less! I was very satisfied with the service & would definitely recommend them to others.
