Established in 2009.

Since 2009, the entertainment and event consulting staff at The Keith Christopher Entertainment Group has been entertaining at, and creating special events throughout the Chicagoland area.

It is our excellent customer service, dynamic performances, and professional standards that makes us one of the preferred Chicago Disc Jockey /​Entertainment Companies.

Our Company is comprised of some of the most talented and dedicated individuals’ in the Event Entertainment industry. They consistently live up to the high expectations of our clients by always willing to do more than is expected. Since our beginning our performers, office personnel, camera operators, editors & technicians do whatever it takes to ensure the success of our clients’ events!

In 2012, 2013. 2014. 2015 we won The Best of The Knot as well as the Bride’s Choice Award from Wedding Wire both for excellence in service to our clients.

Business Owner

Keith «K.C.» KoKoruz is one of the most popular and most respected private event djs in the country. He has spoken all over the country as well as in England and Canada to assist in traing djs in their craft. He was named one of the top ten disc jockeys in the country at the 1996 Dj Times International DJ Convention by Kevin Howard of the Howard Group. In 1997 he performed at the Dj Times International DJ Expo and was ranked number two in the country by Kevin Howard of the Howard Group. He competed in the 1998 and 1999 DJ of the Year competition placing second both times, making him the most winning dj in the history of the competition. In 2003 he won the coveted title of DJ of the Year. In 2007, he took honors again for winning best new game. In 2009 he took honors again as one of the top ten djs in the country.

We hired Keith Christopher based on a review from my best friend, who also used them for her wedding earlier this year. We picked out our DJ at one of the meet and greets they host each month. Definitely worth your time to go, the different personalities of the DJs could make or break how you work together. We went with Marty, who was great. The coordinator at the venue praised him as well, marveling at how good he was to work with. He read the crowd well and announced everything so people heard it (unlike some jumbled sounds you get at some events). He was great and came up a few times to make sure me and the groom had everything we needed and that we were enjoying the night. We have gotten great feedback from the wedding (it was pretty awesome overall) and everyone loved the music. Definitely a great find.

Yes, this DJ company is AWESOME! We hired Dj Michael for our wedding this past weekend and WOOOOWWWW — he was amazing! I’m pretty sure I was one of the most nit-​pickiest brides he’s ever encountered and he did a stellar job in accommodating every single one of my requests no matter how small the detail was. He kept EVERYONE on the dance floor the ENTIRE night and people still can’t stop talking about how seamless the event was. There was not a single awkward moment because he knew how to flow from one segment to the next.

This company is one of the best around. Not only are they ALIVE! But they play the crowd and keep them alive. I have attended several events that they have worked and did nothing but dance dance dance. Keith is great! The music selection is endless and the dance floor is never empty when he is around! I would totally recommend using Keith Christopher Entertainment for your event.

I must say that this company rocked every event I’ve used them for! I met then originally when they did school dances where I work and the kids LOVED them! I spoke with the owner several times after and ultimately booked him for a family member’s wedding! Since then he’s done all the weddings for my close family and friends! Everybody is always on the dance floor and his unique introductions of the bridal party is what really blew me away! Amazing job and would recommend to everyone!

So anyway i hired them a few times for social and business events. Keith did one of the events himself. I hired him because of his reputation in the industry & the fact that he seems to run a solid family business. The corporate event that we had at the convention center was absolutely fantastic. The djs were willing to work with us on details and of course we changed our minds even at the event. Super professional and fun people. If you want that x factor vibe that we needed at both events this company has it dialed in. Thanks KC and company. Sorry my review too so long.

I can’t express how satisfied I am with Keith Christopher Entertainment. Let me tell you putting together a company party is not as easy as it sounds especially when I had so many different ages and genre’s to please. I really appreciate Deana for helping me out with my music selection asks opening up my variety of music. Otherwise we would have probably be jamming to Tiesto or David Guetta if it was up to me.
Thank you also for having patients with my crazy schedule l. I really never thought of the little things and if you guys didn’t ask if I needed all the extras I would have left out a lot. You guys are definitely the one stop shop for music and entertainment. I know I kept adding things to my contract and making changes but Deana pulled through 110%.
The night of we all had a blast everyone was dancing I have all the pictures from the photo booth that I am hoping to have posted on my Facebook along with pictures of the event. I felt like I was at a concert with the quality of the system and lighting.
Thank you !!! I can’t express how much fun we had and I swear my feet hurt for days! Great service, amazing people and over all LOVED THE EXPERIENCE! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

KCE was the DJ vendor for my wedding reception. The initial contact is great when they are trying to book you and get a deposit. After that, they forgot to give me information about the online tool, which they bragged about during the initial contact how that makes them stand out as a company and they use unique information from it at the event. My DJ used NONE of the information at the event after I spent hours filling the thing out. I had no contact with the DJ until 2 days before the wedding, and that was because I was nagging them. He did not spend the time to get the proper information, like name pronunciations or how we wanted to be introduced, which he butchered during the intros. He also did not play the INTRODUCTION MUSIC WHEN WE ENTERED or when the bridal party entered because the volume was turned all the way down — then did not even apologize. It set the stage for the entire night — LAME. He did ZERO crowd interaction, I mean zero. He just played songs and nobody was on the dancefloor, which he did not adjust the music. People continued to not dance all night. During dinner, there were points were five minutes would go by and there would be no music playing while he was sitting down. I was embarrassed to have this DJ at my wedding, I was embarrassed in front of my guests, and I am most embarrassed that I paid as much money as I did for what I got. I would never recommend this company again. They need to hire better DJ’s that are intuned to the customer before they lose their customers. I wish I could have received a refund.

The price quoted to us by KCE was extremely reasonable and we decided to sign with Daryle as the DJ for our wedding reception. We met with him and was extremely excited as we hit it off right away. We were confident that he would do a great job as our reception DJ. However, things started going wrong as soon as the reception started. During the bridal party entrances, Daryle messed up the order and played a couple of songs wrong — he also mispronounced multiple names. Also, after he announced the newly-​weds, there was an awkward 20 second pause before he played our entrance song — this left everyone wondering if something went wrong. During the various speeches we had, we received many complaints saying that the sound system wasn’t working properly and the speakers couldn’t be heard. The entire planning process went smooth but we were disappointed with the performance of the DJ on the actual day.

I have photographed and attended Weddings and Mitzvah’s that KCE has DJ’d. Always does a great job handling the MC duties and keeping the dance floor packed. For Mitzvahs, he had extra dancers and entertainers who really kept the energy and attention of the kids. If you’re looking for a DJ, give him a listen!
