Heavenly Massage & Spa

I came here for the first time about a week or two ago, and was very delighted !! I got a facial with Ittica and a massage with Vaiva (spellings ??), and they both get 5 stars. Skill was amazing for both !! I want to come back already and see them again lol. The staff was also very friendly. I’ve had many massages and a few facials, this place is the best. Much better than massage envy which is Iike the McDonald’s of massage places lol. I’d recommend heavenly massage !! I definitely found my new regular Spa !

Kind of weird. I was using a coupon for a 60 minute massage with aromatherapy and never got the aromatherapy part (the therapist seemed to be unaware I was supposed to get that). They didn’t give me an intake form to fill out. The room seemed too small, the therapist had a hard time moving around the table, and she was very petite. But She was very nice and professional, just not really my style. Probably will give it another try because of all these other reviews

Nice masseuse, but she talked too much.
One would enjoy a quiet, relaxed setting which is what is expected for a massage spa.
I would keep the talking at a minimum and let the client relax. Expected much better since the other location in Buffalo Groove had better quality of a massage. Not sure if i would drive to this location again.

I’ve had great experiences at this place until today. I went in with my back and feet killing me. i told her to focus on my feet and my back. she spent so long on my back it was starting to get sore. I told her the pressure was too hard and she never slacked up. I finally had to tell her to focus on something else. She spent less than a minute on my feet and then told me to get dressed. I left that place 6 hours ago and my back is sore to touch. I seriously got no relief and it was 50 bucks down the drain. Probably won’t go back.

I had booked a pedicure because I had to work a gala downtown later that day. They called me the night before to tell me that my tech will be out sick and they couldn’t do it at the scheduled time. They offered to reschedule me the next day, which didn’t work for me because I needed it done that day. I had to scramble to find another place to fit me in last minute. I understand the tech was sick but it was very inconvenient for me to find another place to fit me in.

If you want a great massage, request Tanya! I was 12 days post partum and she gave me exactly what I needed!

Ummm where to start… I definitely expected more from the professional pics on the Internet… It wasn’t the best massage I received but given the price and the fact that my husband snored half his visit I’m somewhat satisfied… It was his first massage though. They need to definitely upgrade in the quality of massage therapists that they have… I felt rushed and couldn’t really enjoy knowing the next massage point was coming… Ummm not sure I would come back.

I have been here multiple times and have always had a good experience besides the last time. My appointment was at 6:00 but wasn’t seen till 6:15. I told my therapist exactly where my back hurts and she said” OKAY I will try to HELP” The whole time I felt like she was going through the motions. She probably addressed the spot for 2 minutes n went on with her routine. Not only was the massage lacking in skill she shorted my 60 minute massage to 43 minute.

It was my first time and I came after having some severe upper back pain in my muscles from stress. I didn’t request anyone specific other than a female and they gave me Linda, who was amazing. At times the pressure felt like a lot but she said she had to do it in order to get the knots out, and later I realized she was right. She told me I should get a couple more massages to make sure the back is all better, but she added that I don’t have to go back there but that all in all I should get a couple more massages soon, from anywhere. I like that she wasn’t pushy about me coming back and was just being real. The customer service at the front desk was great and their steam shower was awesome too. I didn’t feel rushed in there which was nice also. I left feeling completely relaxed and my back felt 100% better. I’ll definitely be going back.

Couldn’t have had a better experience. Went in, in the morning and everything was perfect. We had Yola and Daiva. What great ladies! They were amazing and really understood what needed work and when to work more or less on certain areas. Thank you ladies for a great experience. Will definitely be back!

Hi Jim, I appreciate your response. I know deep tissue massages very well, and I did let the lady know to slow down and go deeper. I also understand the business of massage therapy and regardless of how busy you are, it’s important to allow the clients who have been treated to recover and drink water without taking away the experience of peace and tranquility. I’ll give you an extra star for your response. Thank you.

Tanya was an awesome massage therapist. I could have fallen asleep it was that good. Felt like a new woman. Definitely will return.

I personally love this Heavenly Massage location. Although I would never be the first to recommend a pedi/​mani… Everything else (facial, massage, etc) has always been wonderful. You can request a steam shower, or request different music… They will always do everything they can to please you and improve your experience there. I recently just had a massage from Paul after I began experiencing some pretty brutal TMJ. Luckily, he knew exactly what that was and how to help it, and I gave him the 411 about everything. I think when you go here you just need to openly express what you want, before, during, and feedback after! They do everything in their power to make you a happy customer.

I would actually give this spot 3.5 stars… eh let’s say 3.75.
My playgroup had a mini baby shower for one of the moms in our group there semi recently. The staff was great w making our group appointment and even gave us the special rate, $ 39 for a mani/​pedi and allowed us to bring in food and drinks for the shower.
The salon is a bit small, but that’s ok! The took us right away and were great about letting us set up our food and giving us space. Manis went great but the pedis, they don’t have chairs… you get your pedi in a bucket/​bowl of water. For $ 39 I want my salon chair. I can go to my little nail salon and get a mani/​pedi for cheaper and with the massage chair and my own tools.
My lady did a okay job honestly. I was a bit disappointed. The other girls weren’t very happy with the quality with the price we paid.
I’ve been to another heavenly massage for services before and have been happy, and maybe this was a fluke, but unfortunately for that price for mediocre quality… not sure if we’ll be back anytime soon!

Been here 3 times. Every time has been amazing. Linda is phenomenal. Got out every single little knot. Plus can’t beat the steam room shower after! Love this place

Best friendly service. Collagen facial is great! I love the receptionist too, She’s so sweet and accommodating. She makes coming back to this location enjoyable.

I really liked this place. I had Paul as my massage therapist and he got all my knots and tension out. After the massage ended, I was able to receive a complementary steam shower which was a nice end to my «spa day.» Definitely worth going to!

The worst massages I’ve had have been from Heavenly Massage. This location as well as the Naperville location. It’s the most non-​relaxing massage I’ve ever had.
I got there a few minutes early and the staff apologized for making me wait. It was no big deal, I was the one that was early. Then my masseuse was a few minutes late. He takes me back and barely says a word. Tells me to undress and he’ll be back. I didn’t know part of my massage was going to consist of a waiting game. I walked into the room, which was the smallest massage room I’ve ever seen. I look over at the table and see that instead of a typical disposable face tissue on the head piece, I see a bunch of Kleenex tissues on it instead. Ok weird. So I lay down and then I waited what seemed like nearly 10 minutes for him to come back. He never asked me what areas to avoid or to work on. When I walked in and signed whatever paperwork, I had written down that I had foot surgery two months prior. I’m still somewhat recovering and sometimes my foot hurts, that was never brought up. Luckily my foot wasn’t hurting but clearly they don’t read those papers after you’ve signed them. If you have allergies to anything, you should tell them yourself.
The massage itself felt like there was no technique and the technique that he did use was jerky and awkward. He used his knuckles more than a masseuse ever should. The movement were very choppy and there was no smooth transition from one area to another. It’s like he had only watched a quick video on how to massage. After he was done with my backside, he excused himself to get heat for my back. I couldn’t believe how long he was gone for. I almost wondered if the massage was actually done and I should get dressed. He was gone long enough to go down the street for the hot wash cloths and come back. After I flipped over, he dimmed the lights to the point it was nearly pitch black in the room. I was ok with it for the time being. He worked my legs and my neck. He never massaged my arms or hands and didn’t do a great job on my feet. Not that any part of the massage was great.
Then he tells me the massage is over and part of me is relieved. He asked if i wanted a steam massage, which I declined. I don’t get this places deal with the steam massage. Why are they so pushy about it? So instead he went to get me towels. I wasn’t very greasy, so I didn’t feel i needed any. He comes back and hands me scalding hot towels while I’m still laying on the table and then proceeded to bolt out of the room. I’ve never had a man leave a room so quickly before. The towels he handed me were too hot to touch so I had to toss them on the table. Remember when I said he dimmed the lights and it was nearly pitch black? Yeah, it still was. It was pretty difficult trying to navigate naked towards the confusing light switch to turn a light on to get dressed. While getting dressed, I went over in my mind the terrible experience i had and just started laughing. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough.
The staff was very nice but the massage was just too terrible to ever go back. This company is 2 for 2 of terrible massages. At least get talented masseuses if you’re going to base your company on them. I’ll still with going to Egle Milavickas in Downers Grove. She has a great personality and is a great masseuse.

Bought two groupon’s and went for a couple’s massage and I had Paul as my Masseuse and I have to tell you he was absolutely amazing. He asked me if the pressure was ok or not and told me to let him know any time it’s uncomfortable and pressure needed to be changed. I like deep tissue massage with good pressure and I really enjoyed my massage and he removed every knot I had. I felt so relaxed and so much better after. I will definitely go back to this location and definitely request him as my massage therapist.
The location is nice and clean. Everyone working here are very warm and welcoming and made us feel comfortable.

I got a bikini wax which was extremely painful but the person helping me made me feel really comfortable but talking throughout the whole experience. You really can’t be shy when coming here since you’re going to be completely naked from the waist down.
The facility is clean. They have showers if you need to rinse the wax off when you’re finished but for the most part they get everything cleaned off so you won’t need to go through that.
