History
Established in 1995.
Since 1995 April has brought together musicians with clients looking to add lovely live music to their events. With great joy and passion she has provided music for over 2000 events around the Chicago-land area. April is not only the owner and consultant at Elegant Ensembles, but herself a professional violinist. Experienced and versatile, her and her line-up of talented musicians have performed both at small private events on up through grand galas.
Well known corporations including McDonalds, Motorola, Allstate, Pepsi-Cola, The Chicago Tribune and even the Chicago Cubs have asked April and her musicians to bring their joy of performing to their events.
Additionally Elegant Ensembles has provided romantic hand picked songs for over 1000 wedding ceremonies… timing each event with the music as if it was a movie soundtrack. Our experiences at weddings have covered a vast range of backgrounds and denominations.
Meet the Business Owner
April B.
Business Owner
Since 1991, April has performed professionally on the violin at over 1500 Chicago area events. Her talents as a musician, leader and administrator work beautifully together as owner of Elegant Ensembles.
Whether performing moving classical music in an orchestral or string quartet, strolling around parties taking requests, providing stirring pieces for loved ones at a funeral or taking solos with her jazzy violin-guitar duet she is a versatile, passionate performer. She’s a master planner and administrator as well. Additionally she takes joy in creating programs which incorporate music, art and history together for clubs, library or assisted living programs.
A performer, business owner, wife and mom, April is always looking to share her love of music making with others.
