Bob Rohrman Schaumburg Ford

Originally I had great service from them. I bought 3 cars from them. The second car I bought from them was missing a part and for 1 year, four times, I requested the part. Finally when the part came in, the GM wanted to charge me for the part because on my last car they lost $ 2500 on my trade in. Really? Two different cars AND the part was supposed to be in the car coming off the line. I received a shrug and was told ‘oh well’. These guys must be doing great to lose a loyal customer over a $ 34 part.

I could only give it one star otherwise it would be less. Bob Rohrman Ford is getting a facelift, new facilities, and new showroom but the guys inside will still be schister rat finks. Married guys will know what I’m talking about, guys do your wives need to hear the same thing you are telling them from someone else and then it rings true? Well my wife thought that 3K for Ford premium care extended warranty was a great price and against my wishes bought it. That’s not the worst part these guys told me that was the friends and family price. Sitting in the finance office I could not get hold of two people I know in the industry and it was only afterwards that I could get in contact and she heard for herself how they soaked us for $ 1250, I can get the same plan at another local Ford dealership for $ 1750, not the $ 2995 they charged me. I had thirty days to cancel and I put it in writing and Bob Rohrman Ford continually pushed to keep my money by offering a higher super premium package that I did not want.
Now keep in mind that I was happy with my other three vehicle purchases over the last five years from them but if this was the friends and family price and they made it difficult over the course of a month to get my money back and then had the audacity to charge me a fee for their crap. I will not spend another cent at any of Bob Rohrman’s dealerships. I spent over $ 125K in the last five years at that Ford Dealership. I will be in the market for another Ford truck in the next couple of years and I will not consider this dealership for my next truck purchase. I hope them trying to soak me for $ 1250 was worth it.
Save yourself a hassle and stay the hell away from these clowns.

Go somewhere else. Many dealers will remove the Doc RIPOFF fee.

Ismael took GREAT care of me and my fiancé. I really appreciated him getting us both in vehicles that we wanted and really making sure we had no questions about the pricing and incentives. Unlike other dealerships, I walked away feeling like I was not taken advantage of. Although we finished our deals after closing, Ismael still took the time to show us how the vehicles functioned and made sure we understood how to safely operate the vehicle as we left the dealership. We really appreciated him, Nick, and Steve for assisting us with this long term investment.

I had a really nice experience here last night. I came in only intending to price war with another dealership, but ended up driving home that night in a new F150. Checked the truecar value, their offer was in the «Exceptional price» range. Nicholas was my salesguy. Very laid back approach, and a very nice guy in general. I would gladly refer anybody to go there. A+

Purchase a Certified, used vehicle from this location less than a year ago. Nothing but big problems from getting financing squared away to serious issues with the car. I would not recommend this Bob Rohrman dealership or any Bob Rohrman dealership to anyone.

I wanted to write this based upon my experience with Sam (assistant general manager) of sales. I had an issue after purchasing my Ford Fusion from them. I was anticipating having to spend a lot of time, energy and money to get it all sorted out but because of the way he handles his customers, it was resolved and I walked away believing in customer service again.

I can’t understand why there are so many negative remarks. I just moved to the area and was using Highland Park dealership, which they were awesome, and the service here was exemplar. They were very attentive to their customers and the work is quality. I would recommend these guys to others who like great service. Glad they are close to me.

I was kind of in a bind but I knew exactly what I needed. I was able to just walk in talk to someone who know what they were doing and find the car that fit for me. They worked out everything top notch and always made me feel comfortable. They even let me bring my dog and gave him some water. From the Sales consultant to the finance manager they were all top notch. I would send anyone here for their sales support.

Have a 2012 Ford Focus that is under extended warranty and water started pouring in. Service guys were nice enough to let me pull in right away. Big negative for not having loaner cars and for not being able to confirm warranty coverage right away. The service desk was pretty rude as well.

We are RV people. Have dealt with numerous dealerships over the years. Most are nearly illiterate when it comes to their product. This dealership is th r opposite!!!
It was important for us to know the towing options of various vehicles. Not only did the salesman know he gave us the info in writing!
Sales pressure was minimum. When sales person answers all your questions… we were caught.
When we need new auto, we will at least call Roherman. And we live in Houston, tx.

I went to Bob Rohrman Ford because it was convenient to my work. I was so happy with my experience! Buying a new vehicle is never easy. My purchase was more complicated than most — I’m from California (work in Itasca but live in San Francisco). I wanted to title the car in my name, as well as joint title with my 22-​year-​old son (who does not have his own credit history.) I have a lease for an apartment in Arlington Heights, but not for another month. This is a tough situation to explain to any lender.
The team at Bob Rohrman Ford worked through all of these issues and I am the proud owner of a beautiful Ford Fusion. They were patient and worked hard to get me a fair deal. We got a great auto loan. My son is on the title, and the loan.
They are going through a remodel right now. Don’t let the physical appearance deter you. They are professional, friendly, and I couldn’t be more impressed.

Had a very terrible experience at this dealership to get service done on our car. If you can, avoid working with Mario when going in for a repair. His customer service was awful, to the point where he wouldn’t respond to phone calls and kept our car for three days without informing us of the issues they found or status of the car. He called on the third day and offer senseless solutions that wouldn’t solve the problem and weren’t covered under warranty. Extremely disappointed and will be going to a different dealership in the future.

Agreed on a price for a new Escape, signed some preliminary documents for financing, then was told to wait while the salesman discussed the price with his GM. GM comes back 20 minutes later and says they can’t honor the price because it was a misprint on the website that they didn’t understand (I had it printed out) and that they would have to sell it for $ 1,000 more. GM was rude and insulting and wasted hours of my time and almost refused to give me original and copies of the documents I already signed. Never going back.

Wow! Wow! Wow! I cannot say how impressed I was with their Service Mgr and the Service Dept. I was 1 mile away when my new Ford was making strange noises. Pulled in spoke to the Service Mgr and told him I was in a major time crunch (needed to be at the airport in 45 minutes). They diagnosed the issue, an oxygen sensor that had gotten loose, repaired it and had me out the door in 15 MINUTES! Next to Highland Park Ford have I ever had this level of customer service and care. Thanks for getting me back on the road so quickly!

I decided to obtain a synthetic oil change on my 13 Taurus SHO here, and scheduled an appointment for one week later. Setting the appointment was no issue, and I made sure to confirm it would be full synthetic.
Upon arriving, there was no issues checking in. As usual they pointed me to the waiting area, and I saw my car go on a lift.
1.5 hours later, and my car is STILL on a lift, I asked what was going on. The service rep THEN informs me that they didn’t have the oil needed for my car, and asked if I wanted to leave it while they ordered it. I asked them to get my car off the lift so I could take it elsewhere. The service rep starts joking about how it was a good thing they didn’t already drain the oil… At this point I’m pissed.
I let them know that it was my first and last visit to their dealership. I called Ron Hopkins Ford in front of Bob’s comedian of a service rep to make an appointment with them. They slotted me in for the following morning, and confirmed they always keep oil for my car in stock and it’s full synthetic.
Now I’m bombarded with at least one mailer a week from this horrible dealership. I’ve called, and emailed to ask to be removed to no avail. I might recommend this dealership to someone I really don’t like for fun, but never someone that I would want to have a positive experience.

Wow, I’m really surprised at all of these negative reviews. I’ve been to Rohrman Ford a total of 4 times this year and every single time I had a very good experience, with both sales and service.
There are two other ford dealerships that are actually closer to my house, but I refuse to go to either of them. It’s at those two other dealerships that I had negative experiences, not at Rohrmans!
The first time I came in was when I was shopping for a Ford Escape. I visited two other dealerships before coming to Rohrmans, but that’s where I bought my car! The manager and the salesman that handled the purchase were both very courteous, friendly, and professional, and most important of all, they were very open to negotiating, and I got a GREAT deal! The other two dealerships I visited, the salesmen were only interested in their commission! I could not have been any happier with the whole experience.
Since then, I went back to Rohrmans 3 times and each time I had a very good experience. The wait is always reasonable and the customer service reps are pleasant and courteous. Honestly, I am very happy with this dealership and have only good things to say about them.

I recently went there for an oil change, and the service was just mediocre.
The place seemed a little rundown. Waited over an hour for an oil change for which I had an appointment. My service guy was nice though.
I’ll probably try another dealer to see what else is out there.

Oh, dearie me, where to begin with this. From the second I set foot on that lot, I had a bad feeling about the place. I was immediately pounced on by a salesman, who asked what I was interested in. I showed him a printout for the car that I had called about just a few hours before and he led my husband and me inside. The car, which had been there for four months, magically sold «five, ten minutes before you got here» (the room started to smell like a bull pasture, if you get my drift). Maybe it did, but that’s really hard to believe. He had barely finished telling me that the car I was interested in was gone when he dove into «but let me show you what we’ve got!» Do I think they pulled a bait and switch to get me in the door? Do I think they kept a really cool, unique looking car on their page to get someone to come out? Oh, hell yes.
So I gave it a shot. I test drove a car and didn’t really think I liked it, but before I had a chance to even think about it, we were being handed financing applications, rushed through paperwork (one piece of which I was encouraged to «just sign, don’t bother reading it»). I mean, seriously, we had paperwork in our faces in less than twenty minutes from the time we walked in. It was ridiculous, they really wanted me to take home a car NOW! It was incredibly stressful and rushed, and I was very unhappy about the entire experience.
We walked out empty-​handed, but were called no less than six times over the next few days by the salesman. I refused to answer or return his calls. Because he was so pushy and didn’t even give me a few minutes to talk to my husband about anything, he lost my business. If you’re shopping for a car, stay away!

I returned to this location to get another oil change and see if my last experience was a fluke. It wasn’t. The oil change and tire roatation took over an hour. When it was finally finished, they said it would be all clean for me. They forgot to clean it. So I went back and they said they would give me «special treatment.» I don’t know what their definition of «special treatment» is, but it still had dog hair everywhere, dirt on the dash, and dust all over the music player. Glad I waited another 20 minutes for that…
3^rd time is the charm: the service was much speedier and my car was very clean when I picked it up. Unfortunately, the lady who checked me out was very rude and unprofessionally complaining to her coworker with a giant attitude because she didn’t want to be working the day before Christmas or something… she barely acknowlegded me as a customer. Also, my license plate holder was broken in two and no apologies were made when I inquired about it. I do want to note that I contacted the customer service rep the next day, Brittany, and she gladly had a new one ordered from my alma mater and shipped to my house. She was very friendly and I appreciated that. She also put a free oil change on my account for the next time. For this, I will give them one more star.
