Friendly place. Didnt eat, had a few cocktails and played pool. First time here. Pool was good, coxktail made fair. Only reason, my rating is so low is because of the bartender woth purple hair. She was friendly BUT she sat and ate fried mac and cheese, liked her fingers and rhen poured drinks and touched my fruit… yuck! At least wash your hand first. Would return if owner could promise better health code…

Local bar, friendly service but the bartender didn’t even know what a Manhattan was… I’m assuming a lot of people go here because the hooka bar next door doesn’t service alcohol. Wasn’t the worst place to go but defiantly wasn’t the best.

Really nice for a dive bar. Friendly bartenders. Good food specials. Good drink specials. They serve food late which is also a perk. Only downside is the typical clientele are not people I normally want to be around.

We felt very out of place when we walked in. I was with my sisters & a friend. I remember going here when it used to have a different name a few years back… We just wanted to grab a few drinks before we went to hookah next door & ended up staying for a couple hours. It was a nice place to just sit & talk. Music wasn’t too loud, the bar wasn’t too crowded. The place was actually pretty empty. Which we didn’t mind. It seems like this place is a local bar kinda thing, where everyone knows everyone. They have their regulars and stuff. Someone was having their bday party there. Everyone knew each other(& the bartender) on a first name basis. I had rumchata & fireball. It was very good. The vodka redbull tasted super watered down tho. It tasted like water and redbull.

If you’re not a regular, you might feel a little out of place at the bar. Being that I don’t mind feeling out of place, I figured I’d stay it out. Bartender was nice enough. Draft beer prices were decent. All in all, ok place to stop for an ok beer at an ok price.

There are few places to enjoy a drink in Scahmurg that is not a national chain so I have had this place on my t go list for a while. It has four pool table and a nice«small» place charm. That is the key word as This is a Chicago suburban village that seems to have its goal of only having large places to eat and drink. This is a nice unique change from what is in this village and surrounding towns of NorthWest suburbia Chicago. The service was kind of crappy though and bartender was only real friendly to regulars which could precisely be the point why these large corporations have taken the bar order. Who knows

This is a suburbanite sipper’s dream. Cheap drinks, late hours & pool tables. After having dinner nearby, we decided to stop in for a nightcap that turned into Apple fire bombs. I know. If you never had it before, it is cider, whiskey and something else. … I opted to have a Midori Sour($ 4.50) and Angry Orchard on tap. I was charged $ 5 for the AO but suspect is was a little less. The place has the cleanest ladies bathroom you have ever seen inside a pub. Normally, I am afraid to touch the door knob of most establishments with super late hours. This place is an exception in that the bathroom was also spacious and has a full length mirror. Service was okay except for the fact that you had to walk up to the counter to place an order. The waitress did not make rounds to check on you. I found that to be a little discouraging and I am sure that was for the best anyway. Would I return to this place? Absolutely.

Best little dive bar in Schaumburg! Drinks are cheap, food is good, the bartenders are awesome and friendly! Never too crowded, never too loud! Douchy customers don’t last long, so the crowd is really cool. Half priced pizzas on Wednesday and half time buffet during bears games! Yes it’s a dive bar in a strip mall, but shouldn’t be overlooked!

Great staff. Free buffet on football Sundays. Surprised I haven’t been in this place already. Love it!

I would definitely classify Bob’s as a dive bar, but its a fun place to go on Sundays for football! Its never too crowded or loud(I hate loud bars) and the staff is really friendly. This is my go to place during football season. They’ll turn on other games besides the bears upon request(I’m not the one asking, but someone in our group is a Colts fan boooo!). They also started doing a free half time buffet. It consisted of chicken wraps, italian beef, hot dogs, fries, and every bloody mary topping you could want!(They have $ 5 bloody mary’s on Sundays). It was a pretty decent buffet for free! Bobs also does raffles for jerseys every game day, and considering there’s not many people there, your chances of winning are pretty high. They arent cheap jerseys either, they’re the real deal. We’ve actually one the raffle twice now! This is definitely a chill spot for bears games! And who can’t pass up a free buffet??? Don’t let the dive bar look turn you away… good service, lots of tvs, free food, and chances to win jerseys! P. S. The usually make the drinks REALLY strong there! Always a plus =]

Way too much money for pool. $ 7 per person for unlimited pool. Sounds great at first but if a coin op table is $ 1 per game, you need to play 14 games to get your money’s worth. Only 4 tables in there and at least 3 of them need to be reupholstered.

I have been here a few times and as far as bar food and drinks go they are really decent by quality and prices. It is a local small time bar so sometimes when busier than expected there may be limited staff but overall great local place. We will return

Not too shabby! My friend and I came here for cheaper drinks after our meal at Seasons 52. We didn’t want our date to end, but we also didn’t want to pay 10.50 per drink. Enter Bob McCullough’s. We got there around 8 on a Saturday night, and the place was surprisingly slow. There were about five people at the bar, and that was it. So we joined them and both ordered Amaretto Stone Sour. My friend said she had had it there before and it was really good because the guy that made them put a little bit of Red Bull into the glass, so it was a sparkling kick. Unfortunately that guy wasn’t making our drinks. It was a girl who was VERY heavy-handed with the«sour» portion. EEK! I could barely drink it! But a managed((wipes sweat from brow)) and ordered a Mike’s Hard Lemonade after that, just to be safe. My tab was $ 9.50 for my two drinks(5.00 for the sour… eek, I mean Amaretto Stone Sour and $ 4.50 for the Mike’s). There were some more people that came by in the couple hours that we were there. Some played pool, some ordered food, but it wasn’t super busy by any means. I had a good time, though, and if I am ever around there looking for cheap drinks, I know where to go!

My friend and I decided to check this place out after sushi just a few doors up to grab a couple drinks and play some pool. We walked in and were not greeted. We found a spot in a dark abandoned corner. Took a minute for the waitress to come by and take our drink order. We sit and talk for about 20 minutes while we wait for a billiard table to open up. By then my bottle was empty, and no one had even come by to see how we were doing. I had to walk up to the bar to order another drink and wait 5 minutes for someone to even notice I was standing there. Got my drinks, and a pool table finally. Also, apparently, karaōke night is on Thursday as well. So we finish up our pool game just as karaōke begins, and the waitress finally comes around to ask if we want to close our tab.(What tab, I didn’t start one). We reply with a «yes.» We were under-charged for our drinks and over-charged for our pool game. My only advice is that you pay more attention to your customers… and maybe the tip would be better. Just sayin.

I live only 2 minutes away from this place and I went there for the first time last week. A few of us went over there to check it out. One, because it’s an Irish place and my family is QUITE Irish. And two, we were slightly bored with the other areas around town so we decided to check it out! It was a Wednesday night when we went and it wasn’t crowded… at all. Which is slightly worrisome because it was an adorable little joint. And it’s WAY bigger than you’d expect! Tons of Billiards and a great staff. As soon as we walked in, one of the servers asked us if we wanted popcorn(for free). Very pleasant. We only had drinks at the bar, no food, but the bartender was extremely nice. I believe his name was Bob(no, not THE Bob). He was very helpful and named off some specials and recommendations. Even though the well drinks were $ 3.00, he gave them as tall ones. That was super nice of him! I’ll have to check out their food the next time I go, but it as a nice little place. I was a little confused as to why they didn’t spice up the bar with more Irish merchandise, but maybe they’ll get there. They had a ton of Chicago items though, so that was fun… but let’s see some Irish stuff too! Cute little joint and a nice staff. Check it out sometime and see what ya think!

If I were ranking the bar itself, I would give it one star. But since they had live music, Slowhand a Clapton/Cream cover band, I had to up the rating a little for awesome music! The food was pretty terrible… we ordered the potato skins which were overpriced($ 7 for 4 dry bland potato skins). The drinks were not very cheap like others said. Mixed well drinks were $ 4 and Bud light bottles were $ 3. You can get that anywhere in the suburbs… or an even better deal at an equal hole in the wall. I came here right after eating at the fabulous Sushi Ya and if it wasn’t for the band I would have left right away.

The cheapest pool hall I’ve found in the area and a lot nicer than the bowling alleys. The pool tables are really nice, servers are super friendly, and prices are cheap. Haven’t tried any of their food yet, so maybe next time if I’m hungry. Mon. — Thurs. from 11AM — 7PM: $ 5/person unlimited play Fri. — Sat.: $ 5/person per hour — 4 full size pool tables &1 smaller table — daily drink specials($ 1.99 pints when I went) — free darts area w/leather couch seating — they have a ping pong table(not sure if it’s free)
