Arpita is amazing!!! It’s hard to find hair stylists that listen but she does. I came to her without a specific style in mind, just general ideas, but requested something fun. What she created was stunning and fun! The color, balayage highlights and cut were perfect (She also corrected color mistakes made by my previous stylist.). Arpita is not only a hair stylist, she’s a hair artist.

OMG!!! If you are looking for the most talented, amazing hair stylist, you must go to Arpita. She is a hair artist or better yet, a hair wizard. I had been trying for many years to get a specific layered look with balayage highlights with no success. I went through 5 hair people (I hesitate to call them stylists after going to Arpita.) and none of them listened. A couple of them absolutely ruined my hair. Not only did Arpita listen to me, using her artistic eye and talent with hair styling, she exceeded my greatest expectations. I am older with thinning hair and I now look years younger! I did not think it was possible to feel this satisfied and excited about my hair. Every time I look in the mirror, I giggle because I am so happy. Do yourself a big favor… make an appointment with Arpita. You will be happy you did.

After having moved into the area I was afraid of having To find a stylist since even then I didn’t really have a a go to one. Having curly hairis so hard to find someone who can really work with it. I ran into Arpita through Unilocal and decided to give her a shot. Boy am I glad I did her personality is great and she really knows what she’s doing. Glad I found her!

I had long hair for more than 26 years and was tired of it. I went to my stylist to have it cut very short and didn’t like the way she cut it at all. I went to Arpita, and she cut and styled it and it looks amazing, I love it.

Ok, I cannot say enough good things about Arpita.
I had my second appointment with her to touch up my roots, lighten my ends, and brighten my hair throughout. We also did an express keratin treatment. It was a full day and she rocked it out.
My natural color is dark. And going lighter isn’t easy. Patience is required. Arpita has brought out beautiful shades of ash blonde throughout my hair while still maintaining its integrity. She was honest with me about the color/​lightener/​products process and what I need to do on my end to keep my hair healthy.
She did not ever push any upgrades or any products. She just filled me in on what’s going on with my hair and educated me on what I’d need to be doing to also keep my hair healthy. And of course, being the incredible professional that she is, she’s spent a lot of time and research finding what will be the best for her clients. Let’s be honest folks, if you’re willing to pay good money for top quality salon services, you’re also the type of person to invest in after care for your locks. You understand that a huge chunk of hair care occurs at home those days between appointments.
I already used good products at home (Moroccan Oil brand everything). However she has a line of some incredible, cannot find just simply anywhere, exclusive products. So I started using her hair oil last time and it made a huge difference in the last 5wks. This time I purchased several other products and over the last week since my appointment, I can already see more improvement to the ends, integrity, structure, and overall health of my hair. Especially combined with the express keratin treatment.
The express treatment was great! It added shine and instant moisture back into my hair. I noticed less little breakage pieces by 100%. Drying time has been cut in half too.
This coupled with the amazing hair oil plus the exclusive line of products… My hair health is back where it should be. I’m thrilled.
And of course, the entire time she was engaging, warm, friendly, thorough, professional, detailed, and a total perfectionist. She took her time and painted my hair like Michelangelo. I was there for most of the day and it felt like I was just being pampered by an old friend. A very talented old friend.

Arpita is a creative and thorough stylist with a true passion for her work. Each style is beautiful and artistic. I recently went to her for a trial run of hair and makeup for my wedding, and the look was wonderful! I’m definitely going to take her on for my wedding day, and am excited to get the whole style complete with color and cut. Can’t wait to post shots of the actual wedding day hair and makeup!
If you’re able to get to Arpita’s salon on a regular basis, I would definitely recommend her for more routine maintenance appointments.

I was visiting Schaumburg from Atlanta for a family wedding and was able to find Arpita through Unilocal and was able to book her to do my makeup for the wedding. She was very easy to get a hold of and was great at getting back to me with any questions I had. She accommodated me on the day of the wedding… even though I showed up half an hour early. She did an amazing job and I got a ton of compliments on my makeup. I highly recommend her. She is super sweet and professional!

I was looking for awhile a hairstylist that I can just go anytime & not worry with the outcome and I can say I finally found her Arpita is the best!!! I look forward to my appointments w/​her & recommend all my friends to her & they also love her!!! I’ve always had bad luck when it comes to my stylists. I’d show a picture for reference and the outcome was the opposite.
Arpita was great from the getco. She’s very easy to talk to and she walks you thru all the steps necessary to get to your optimal goal. She is probably the best around here to do ombré/​balayage. She’s also very responsive and flexible with appointments (she didn’t mind I tag along my 3 month old). I’m very happy I found her and cannot wait for the next appointment!

Arpita is a stylist that is beyond compare. She is meticulous and really cares about the quality of her work – which is nothing less than outstanding. As a stylist she has been able to embrace my vision and cut my hair in ways that are flawless. I enjoy changing my look, and Arpita has been able to help me achieve those looks. From long, to short, whatever the length may be she is able to execute the perfect cut every time. She is a precision cutter, utilizing the newest techniques to create the most modern, and refined cuts. I approached her about cutting off my long layer locks in hopes of a graduated, «Posh bob» and she was able to flawlessly make my dream a reality.
