I just have to say, the guy that helped me yesterday was so nice! I didn’t get his name but it said Derek on the receipt so maybe that’s correct. He was extremely helpful and just a friendly guy. I was very happy with the result of my visit :)

My issue with Aldo is 1) price is too high for the quality. 2) The return policy is not good. I think it’s ridiculous to refuse a worn shoe — now, I don’t mean they’ve been worn several times and the wear is obvious. I mean that sometimes, trying on a shoe in the store for 10 seconds doesn’t give you an honest idea of what they will be like for a few hours. I said this to the person who was«helping» me and he said they encourage people to walk around their house in them, on carpet, first. Seriously — no one does that. If you are going to charge so much money for poorly made shoes, at least have a decent return policy.

Today was a day of firsts for me and my first visit to Aldo’s. Did;nt come in for shoes but my Aunt has a beautiful Aldo bag and she bought me a gorgeous Aldo purse tonight! What impressed me besides the great selection of shoes and the really nice/courteous cashier was that I had found a purse at Macy’s that I liked and it was double the price of the one my Aunt bought for me tonight at Aldo! Boy. I was loving this and my new purse, I’m loving that too! So. if you’re out at Woodfield Mall stop into Aldo. What a great store!

I LOVE the shoes at aldo! The only problem is that sometimes I think the price is a bit high for the quality. The salespeople here are usually pretty helpful. I will definitely be back when I am in the need of some sexy heels or new boots.

I think I have a serious problem with Aldo — whenever I go, I see another pair of shoes I want. I once saw a sign in an Aldo store in California that they had been written up by the government(some consumer organization, I have no idea which) for being overpriced. I agree, since most of their shoes are around $ 80. Unfortunately they’re so cute that I can’t resist! =P The pairs I own are pretty comfortable too.
