AAA Prism Immigrant Medical Center

I’m not sure who’s been able to see this group of doctors in the past but I just called them to see if there was an appointment available for today and I was told point blank that they only see immigrants who are applying for a green card and will not see any normal American citizens. I think I asked him three times to repeat himself since I was dumbfounded. As soon as he heard my American accent, he pointed out that I’m not an immigrant and they only see immigrants, ‘not normal patients’. I’ve never heard of anything like this before. Isn’t that flat out discriminatory?! I was just denied care by a medical practice because I’m an American citizen! What if a practice heard a foreign accent on the phone and told someone they won’t see them because they’re clearly not a normal American citizen? Can you even imagine the discrimination outcry? I’ve never heard of this before but I was just flat out denied by these people. Unless you’re an immigrant with a foreign accent, don’t bother calling them I guess.

This is a great group of doctors to go to. They are very conveniently located and have lots of appointments. The doctors are very knowledgeable, friendly, and accomodating. I always go here for my general check-​ups and have never had any complaints with these doctors or their staff.
