Not the best prices Ive ever seen, but totally worth it! I had the laughing cow, which was egg whites, turkey bacon and laughing cow cheese on whole wheat bread thins, just delicious.

It’s hard for me to reconcile the really good food with pretty silly prices. Food is great, creative and tasty. And in some ways the prices are creative too… c’mon…it’s wheatberry salad?! For me it’s a once in a while kinda place… but I wish it wasn’t.

Chocolate is my sexy time. And so is Vanilla Chai. But picture this… So I’ve had Cooked & Co. on my Bookmarks List for a while and wanted to take a journey down to Scarsdale. I had some time before my Tae Kwon Do class and imagined either sipping a dark Hot Cocoa or a Vanilla Chai. And as I’m taking the drive, I’m really getting excited… Interior of Cooked & Co. Is so adorable and extremely inviting. Pastries are expertly displayed. Natural wood accents definitely rule here. It’s a cozy café throughout. My strategy was to go in, order a Hot Cocoa or Vanilla Chai, sit and absorb, then Check in. Negative. Negative. Negative. And Negative. So let me give you the dialogue, play-by-play: ME: «good morning I would like a Vanilla Chai please». Confused Young Person: «ummm, we have these?»(pointing to Celestial Seasonings packages). I don’t mind drinking Celestial Seasonings — - if I’m home! ME: «oh, so then I’ll have a Hot Cocoa, instead» Even More Confused Young Person:(she turns to her coworker and asks her if they make Hot Cocoa… «No» her coworker said ME: «oh, ok. Thank you» Way Confused Young Person:” would you like a coffee.” ME: «no thank you, I don’t drink coffee». And sashayed right on out. WTF was that? I thought I was in freaking Scarsdale, land of the affluent! What do you mean you have no hot cocoa or Chai? These are major staples of a well-oiled café, ESPECIALLY in a plush town such as Scarsdale! Boy… I was fuming. And at that point I was so freaking lost in the sauce, I didn’t know what else to think. Maybe I’m being a tad generous by the three stars and please don’t misunderstand me, but, Cooked & Co shows forth as a really, really, cool and funky spot… If you drink coffee– that is. But the fact that they don’t prepare hot cocoa or vanilla chai, I’m out.

We came here after seeing very good reviews on Unilocal, but I have to say, I was left a pretty unsatisfied. The food was very good and the service was excellent. That is about the only thing keeping me from giving Cooked & Co a 2 star review. I was more unsatisfied with the food to dollar ratio, because it seems like we got very little for the amount of money we paid. Maybe it’s just me. Maybe I’m going to sound a bit nitpicky. Whatever it is, I still left here unsatisfied. Anyway… here it goes. I heard a lot of good things about the Popover Special so I figured I would give it a try. We went on a Monday, so they didn’t have the brunch specials but I asked if they had the Popover Special. They said they could make it, but they didn’t have the gruyère sauce. Instead I received regular gruyère cheese, which was fine. I didn’t expect them to have it. It was delicious but for $ 9.50, I’ll pass next time. I also got a coffee which tasted a bit watered down(+$ 3.00). My wife got the Rice Krispie French Toast and a small bowl of fruit(+$ 2.00). The french toast was $ 3.50 per piece. You would figure a «piece» would be a decent sized, square piece of french toast. Nope. Cut that piece diagonally and that’s considered two pieces. So my wife ordered one slice of french toast bread for $ 7.00. She also had a tea with it(+$ 3.25). Lastly, we purchased a large Nutella Banana Nut muffin. It was $ 4.50 but was quite delicious. Our bill came to $ 32.00. Don’t get me wrong, all the food was delicious, but I can’t justify paying that much for a sandwich, two small french toast triangles, a muffin, fruit, and two beverages. I’ve received more food for less at other local eatery’s. Again, maybe it’s just me. Maybe I didn’t order correctly. I’d like to give this place one more go around and hopefully I’ll have a better experience.

They made me the popover special even though it was a Wednesday! SODELICIOUS! I even ordered a second popover on the side, yum yum yum. My boyfriend had a burger and onion rings, also absolutely delicious. I should’ve gotten my own order of onion rings, perfectly crisp without being overly crunchy. Had a coffee to go, and grabbed some packaged gluten-free goodies for later. Will totally be stopping in whenever we are in the area again.

Came in around brunch time on Saturday, and was not disappointed. The coffee was a little pricey, but delicious,(they do not serve espresso) I ordered the bacon egg and cheese popover– DELICIOUS, prepared fresh and so worth it. The space was cramped, and if youre not comfortable with being close to strangers, don’t sit. It was worth it though. The shop is family owned, and the two cashier’s were twins! Cute venue, fresh food, will be back to try the pastries.

Phenomenal!!! Can’t wait to go back! Stopped in for Saturday brunch and was truly impressed. Seating is limited, but we were able to get a table. After looking at the pictures on Unilocal I had to try the popover special and it did not disappoint. Two eggs in a popover with bacon and Gruyère sauce. Absolutely delicious. My friends went with the grilled chicken panini which they loved. We shared the sweet potato truffle fries which were delicious and fried to perfection. The staff was very friendly they advised the bread puddings were just baked I got a sample of the vanilla and chocolate. They were so good I got a slice of both. I wanted to try everything I saw. I’ll be back very soon to try some more. If you’re in the area and haven’t been to cooked and co I don’t know what you’re waiting for. You won’t be disappointed!

Big fan of the avocado wedges! Would’ve given it five stars if they had later hours(closes at 6:30)

The food is good but the staff makes the keystone cops look like a well oiled machine. Every vacant table had piles of dirty dishes on it. I waited forever for anyone behind the counter to take my order since they were all running around like headless chickens. At 6′ 2″ tall, I’m hard to miss. I’d wait until they get their act in gear and then try it. Or, don’t arrive during normal eating hours.

Stopped here because I wanted to find a good cup of coffee and breakfast(that’s hard to find in this area). They don’t serve brunch during the week, but they have some breakfast items. I got the eggs on brioche and it was really really good. It was pretty much empty which is not the case on the weekends, so it was really enjoyable. Coffee was hot and fresh too.

I’m in this area often and have walked by Cooked many times. Today, an unusually sunny and warm November day, I decided to go on in and grab an iced coffee. The volume can be heard from outside… Maybe a good sign? It’s packed they must have something good to offer… They have interesting looking salads. You can«make your own» most people seemed to be having a salad. The noise and number of people make ordering a little confusing, left standing looking bewildered someone did ask if I needed help. I ordered my iced coffee and grabbed a gluten free blonde($ 9.41). I was a little thrown by the price but again based on the crowd thought it must be worth it, i have spent more on less… So I take my iced coffee over to the milk bar and they have 3 choices: whole, fat-free and half & half. Ugh! Wish I had noticed this ahead of time. Guess it’s a my bad moment I just naturally assumed that a crowded chichi spot like this would have a soy or almond or hemp option… Anyway to the point… The coffee was D&D esk… Which is ok if you like that kind of thing. I prefer a more robust roast so I was disappointed. I have not yet tried the blonde I have higher hopes. Fingers crossed!

Found this place via Unilocal reviews when friends came up from Queens and wanted to meet for Brunch. This place is removed from the main highway and if I didn’t have GPS I would have never even known that it existed in this small little village. The meal I had was a Buffalo Chicken burger and it was huge and delicious. Everyone else also enjoyed their food. My only issues were that the restaurant is small so you feel a bit rushed and the prices are a little high.

Cooked and Co is awesome. The avocado wedges are to die for. The buffalo burger, salads and deserts are great. Cons are that their menu doesn’t seem to match the stuff in the cases which make ordering confusing. Theres too much to look at and you have no idea what you’re looking at. This makes people linger at the counter or in front of the case causing a traffic jam.

Found this place when searching to cater a BBQ we were having. Stopped into the shop to see and taste what they offered. Heather provided us with samples of a variety that I was considering for the party — problem was we liked EVERYTHING! My husband who ‘hates brussel sprouts’ loved theirs — same with kale salad. We ended up ordering trays of the brussel sprouts, kale salad, faro salad with fresh strawberries, green beans, cold sesame noodles, quinoa salad, mac n’ cheese buttermilk fried chicken and a fruit salad. Our crowd of 30 adults and 15 young children loved everything. For eating in, the place is on the small side but the staff handled the lunch hour and turnaround of tables well. So happy to have found our new go to place for catering and lunch! Need to try the brunch. Only downside is that there are too many choices of excellent foods. I’m making myself hungry for more just writing the review! Yummmmmm.

Was in the area visiting family and they popped us in here to grab sandwiches for bring back to their house. The space is small but the décor was very cute. They had mason jars displayed and their lighting also incorporated mason jars. They had a number of people dining at the few tables. The first thing that caught my eye were the amazing looking sweets! I totally regret not picking something up. I ordered the Steak Panini — ended up being über delicious — The steak was cut nice and thin it was very moist and rare which I liked. I believe it had a truffle aioli which really came through strong but not overbearing. The only qualm was I thought the menu said arugula on the sandwich but I didn’t notice any greens when eating. If it’s not included some type of vegetable on the sandwich would be a nice addition. If in the area would like to swing back around and try those Nutella muffins they looks amazing!

Some things grew, some things average. All prices above average. Friendly and helpful staff. Charming dining area, but not comfortable due to all of the foot traffic.

Cooked and co. might be the only eatery I’ve ever been to that could turn me into a Vegan. They have an array of freshly prepared vegetable dishes, daily(along with meat, fish, salads, etc.) I always get a plate that consists of an assortment of said veggies. Today it’s kale salad with peanut dressing, avocado salad, mashed cauliflower and Asian roasted string beans(they’re my favorite thing on the menu). And if you’re craving something sweet, try a Nutella muffin … it’ll make you see God. I’ve heard incredible things about brunch –specials include the Popover Special(eggs, bacon and Gruyère in a popover), the Elvis(French toast, peanut butter, banana and bacon sandwich) and the Denny’s Grand Slam. Clearly I need to get back here on the weekend stat … and so do you!

For a quick breakfast it is pretty good. I have no complaints, just think it is more of a grab and go type place than«classic brunch spot». The place itself was clean and the food came out super fast. I definitely plan to go back for the Nutella muffin they have… It looks delicious!

Huge fans of this place. We come probably at least twice a month. Pros: great great food, friendly staff, good quality ingredients, expansive menu despite the small space. My favorite items are the short rib grilled cheese. Amazing flavor. The skirt steak with chimichurri is great and bold flavors. The elvis is definitely a must try also. The banana nutella muffins are insanely good, have attempted to recreate them many times at home, and while they come out good, not even close to cooked & co’s version. Cons: very little on the negative side. I’ve liked every single item I’ve ordered except the avocado fries, but I think that’s a preference thing, not their fault. The ordering process is a little sloppy and confusing. Also, while the main course items are pretty reasonably priced, some of the smaller items are a bit steep(eg– mini muffins are $ 3) Overall. Love this place and will keep coming back
