I have came here a few times over the years when tax things get a bit more complicated. Like have a child or add a rental income. I like the staff but I never look forward to coming in because of the absolutely huge cost. I just don’t know anyone else to use & don’t want to use H&R Block. For being a licensed tax preparer & NOT an Accountant or CPA a simple 1040 with daycare & schedule A costs $ 250 +. That’s very steep for that return. They have missed filing deadlines because they work slowly. Even the first 1 – 2 weeks of Feb which is not prime busy tax season yet. If you add a schedule E you get quoted about $ 385 & when you actually file they jump the price up to almost $ 450! I really need to find a better place…

We are not some huge, nasty, corporate chain/​conglomerate. We have a small, self-​sustaining business out in the country w/​just a few hands for payroll. SB &TS serves up all our payroll and taxation needs and correctly anticipates questions and challenges before they even materialize! Huzzah!
