I specialize in candid photographs, so I try to incorporate that into each session, providing a mixture of standard portraits, as well as candid photos and giving a more natural and relaxed feel to the overall session.

I have been in the photography business for the past 4 years and have been running my own personal photography business for the past 2 years. I have shot various types of portraits (maternity, newborn, cake smash, etc.), as well as various events (weddings, sweet 16s, baptisms, etc.). Hello, my name is Kristin and I absolutely love taking pictures! Photography was something that started out as a hobby (mainly to take pictures of my own children) and turned into a true passion.

I started The Road Not Taken Photo just over 2 years ago and it has been an adventure; a challenge and a lot of fun at the same time. I have met lots of incredible people and I have taken photos of everything from newborn babies to weddings and all things in between.

I love that photography is constantly evolving. There are always new things to learn and new methods to apply. It’s so wonderful to work in a field where creativity is limitless and there is always room to grow!
