History

Established in 1980.

The Giambanco Family left Sicily in 1980, arrived in New York, and found an opportunity to become an owner of Sal’s Pizzeria & Catering, here in Sayville. Vito and Lori took over the Family business in 1990. They both had experience in the field and made the establishment what it is today — excellent Italian recipes, prepared and served with care to thousands of happy Sayville area residents and visitors.

Sal’s Pizzeria & Catering is recognized as one of New York’s best pizzerias, and voted the Best Pizza on the South Shore. We strive to give you «food at its best» that you will remember, and come back to enjoy.

The owners began cooking at a young age, recipes & flavors being part of their family traditions in Sicily. We bring all this to you today, both at our restaurant in Sayville, & with our catering services in your own home.
