Manager

My name is Dustin and as of February I will have been the general manager of Awesome Machines for one year.

After taking over as the general manager our owner and I got together and discussed what the future holds. We both agreed that the most basic principles are usually the most important. Honesty, integrity and a dedication to customer service unlike anyone else were to be put above all things and become the cornerstone to the business.

Rest assured there will be times we fall short, we are only human. However I can also assure you that when we do fall short, if given the chance we will do whatever we can to correct the situation.

I won’t bore you with much personal information other than I live in St Joseph with my beautiful wife and rambunctious but amazingly wonderful two daughters. God has blessed me with a wonderful family, a wonderful company to work for and I hope that is evident in my passion to serve others.

Terrible service. I have taken my mowers there multiple times. Why did I go back? My riding mower wasn’t fixed correctly the first few times. After the first two times I took it back, I had to argue with the staff over how I was using the mower. Was I «starting it correctly?» Or, did I «power it down properly?» Yes, I’m pretty skilled in the art of grass-​cutting, machine on/​off technology.
I’ll be looking for a new business to service my machines this summer.

I bought a new Dixon Mower in their store in the fall of 2012. The mower continues to not cut a 8″ strip on the right side. I called Awesome today and talked with Mike. Told him the situation and he said it is due to the grass being too wet. I told him it happens every time. He said once again it is due to the wet grass. He was also talking with someone else while we where on the phone. I then asked him if I could get it serviced. He said they are 7 – 10 days out. I asked when I could make an appointment. He said they don’t do appointments and I would just have to leave it and they would get to it when they can. I told Mike that we are mowing every three days now and I would need them to do the work in between mowings. Mike said well that’s our policy. He then continued to talk with others so I told him he must be busy and I would call another time and he said that would be fine. So now I need to find someone to service my mower.
