History

Established in 2013.

After years of working with her own dogs and horses Claudia became a Canine Coach at her local shelter in 2000, helping dogs become more adoptable.

She was accepted to a year long dog training apprenticeship at St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center. Upon completing her apprenticeship she began teaching puppy kindergarten and family dog classes. She also started working as ‘second trainer’ in St. Hubert’s internationally known Feisty Fido program for leash reactive dogs.

After 300 hours working as a first trainer Claudia passed the CPDT-​Ka trainers exam and was hired as a full time trainer and behavior consultant and supervised the dog training apprentice program.

She did private training and taught puppy classes, adult dog basic and advanced obedience, therapy dog preparation classes and ran up to 3 Feisty Fido group classes per week work for leash reactive dogs.

After moving to Georgia Claudia opened Train This Dog — improving behavior and building bonds between people & dogs
