I am a new patient to Dr. Barrett and she is a great doctor. The staff greeted me with warm smiles and the atmosphere was comfortable. It wasn’t just an appointment, she actually took me into her office and wanted to know a little bit about me and my family planning goals. Choosing an OBGYN is a process for most women, especially when you decide you want to start a family… You want to choose a doctor that would make the process smooth and have the same excitement as you and that is trustworthy. As a medical professional myself, there are qualities I look for in a medical provider and within minutes of arriving for my appointment, I knew I wouldn’t regret choosing Thrive. Thank you!

I had the best experience at this practice. Both doctors are amazing and I hope to have my second child with them. I have nothing but positive things to say. They took me on at 25 weeks pregnant after moving and felt comfortable right away. I would highly recommend Thrive to anyone that is looking for a great experience with their pregnancy. They are both truly amazing beings. I don’t see how this practice could have any bad reviews. Most of the negative things listed in the review are no longer true and everything is done in the office. You will not regret choosing them for such an important decision in your life.

I switched to Thrive OBGYN at 30 weeks. I had previously had 2 babies and 3 miscarriages. Because I had a prior C-Section delivery due to a breech baby, my previous Dr. was not open to trying a v-bac. I wanted a different experience this time around. I met with Dr. Paash and Dr. Barrett and immediately felt at home with them and their practice. They are positive, encouraging, sweet and really cared about me and my history. They took the time to study my past pregnancies and with a list of my questions(that were thoroughly answered) they had their own questions for the kind of care I was expecting. I enjoyed seeing each Doctor every other visit and I felt like they communicated well to each other info from my last visit. My experience was amazing and I felt really cared for by both of them. What an amazing option for care they have brought to Savannah! I have recommended several friends to them and they have been very happy with their care as well.

I was a Thrive patient in 2013 for my first pregnancy when the practice was relatively new. I went to Dr Paasch for my yearly exam prior to getting pregnant and stayed with them halfway through my second trimester before transferring to another local doctor. I am happy with the switch but here’s my opinion on Thrive. PROS: 1) Both Dr Barrett and Dr Paasch are friendly 2) I had no problem getting an appointment 3) Both doctors are open to spending a lot of time with you during each appointment 4) The front desk and billing people are friendly and accommodating CONS 5) Dr Paasch and Dr Barrett switched off each appointment for me so despite their notes for each other, I found myself repeating myself at each appointment. 6) All my ultrasounds were done by another practice that they share an office with. This meant I had to book 2 appointments and wait times for the ultrasound office were really long(especially at the end of the day) 7) I found the practice to be disorganized — the doctor recommended I take an OTC medication that my new doctor strongly discouraged — the office gave me someone else’s lab results when I requested my medical records OTHERCONSIDERATIONS: I was told that the Thrive practice was new when I started there so maybe they’ve worked out their kinks. Maybe it’s inevitable but both docs talked a lot about their own experiences of being pregnant when I was asking about medical advice. It’s probably a matter of personal opinion but I didn’t feel too reassured. Both docs where new to GA so they didn’t have a lot of knowledge on things like other local specialists, facilities or public cord blood banks.
