Raab was birthed from the minds of a gifted writer and a world-​renouned painter. Raab’s life a constant reflection of those surrounding her as seen through whiskey-​glazed eyes and the tail end of coffee-​fueled creative binges. Her work is an abstraction of her surroundings.

From our first contact and all the way through the design process, it has been nothing but a pleasure to work with the owner, Tom, and the courteous staff at this unique print shop. My fiancé and I brought the project of having our wedding invitations done by the company and Tom was as excited as we were about them! He responded to all of my emails right away which for any bride is a necessity when dealing with wedding stress from the countless other tasks at hand. Tom put a lot of thought and time into designing samples for us to look at and choose from. Most importantly, the work produced is beautiful and a much better deal than going through other invitation companies. I can’t speak highly enough about the owner and the staff at the shop– they are incredible and exceeded our expectations!

I came to the Soda Shop to support local business. I needed letter press and heard «Uncle Tom» was my man. He was easy to work with, offering suggestions and ideas. Everyone in the shop was nice and welcoming and the surrounding art is inspiring. I am so glad I found the Soda Shop. Now I have a stand out business card and a talented print company I can rely on.

I’ve never had such a bad experience in a print shop. As a new business, I thought they would be committed and accommodating to their customers. Instead I was treated like an annoyance. I came in wanting to make a few digital prints. After setting my files up on the one computer they have available to customers — which is very old and kept crashing — I had help from a fairly nice employee to get them printed. All the prints were extremely dark and muddy, and the woman who owns the shop threw a fit when I wanted to reprint them. She told me she had other things to do and couldn’t spend all her time making my prints look good. She made me feel like I had shown up specifically to waste her time — not a good attitude to have in a new business. It’s crucial to have a good print when trying to present artwork to clients, and I tried to make myself clear on this. I was told that they had more important things to do and I should probably just give up on my prints since they didn’t have printers good enough for them… seriously? The reason I go to a print shop is to have access to higher quality machines and the expertise of the employees. Apparently The Soda Shop has neither of these things, and I will never be taking my business there again. How could you tell a client to leave because your personal prints are more important than their business? I’m still reeling from this experience.
