Ordered take out and was pleasantly surprised the food was so good from a bar! Fabulous pulled pork sandwich. We will definitely eat here again.

So my friends called me and told me to meet them at tailgate. And I was like I don’t know where you parked your truck. Then I came here. Good food good drinks. So those are good things. I like when things are good. Yuummmmmm good

Place has okay at best trivia… Horrible service but the extremely attractive waitress’s make up for it. Food is pretty good.

Great place to go to. We go every week. I can have great food, drinks and service cheaper than going to a restaurant. Meet with friends to chill out. There are a lot of TVs so you can watch almost anything you want. all you have to do is ask. The owner is a cool guy and cares about the place. you will see him help out when it gets too busy for the girls to keep up.

Just spent an afternoon here watching football during my bachelorette weekend! We had a WONDERFUL time! The service was great, awesome food and drinks! The owner was extremely attentive to our party and went out of his way to make sure we had a good time. Perfect place to hang out with friends and have a good time! We will definitely be back next time we are in town!!! Thanks!

This place was alright. Wings were pretty decent and at a fairly good price. Overall nothing stuck out to me and wasn’t impressed

Love this little dive! Good, inexpensive food. TONS of tvs, trivia night on wednesday. Great beer selection (all bottles, no draft) at very low prices!!! I would definitely go here again if I was in the area. I had several different beers from breweries all over the country and I had a club sandwich and tots. My coworker had some wings which were very good also.

I’ve been going there since I moved to Savannah my Junior year in college & IT FEELS LIKE A HOME AWAY FROM HOME! The staff truly get to know you and they are down to earth cool people! The owner is the best! LOVE MIKEY B! Get to know him especially if you’re an Alabama fan!
The ambiance is like an everyone knows everyone in there kind of place! I used to go to trivia nights almost every Sunday and Wednesday nights! They always have a big deal going on with big sports games and events! THEIR WINGS ARE HUGE! LOVE THE SPICY RANCH!
They are always friendly and have THE BEST BARTENDERS! These girls know how to handle a bar crowd efficiently and they are friendly and cool! THE best of the best!
I will always visit this place every time I visit Savannah!

this is the worst delivery every! Being waiting for 1and half hour!!! And I call back no one answer. This is soooo not the one u want to pick! n!

I had the absolute worst experience at Tailgate. I had been looking forward to going ever since I moved here and I’ll probably never go back. I was never greeted by anyone. No server ever came to the table so I had to order at the bar. My water was never refilled and it took forever to pay for my food. I very well could have walked out without paying and I really don’t think anyone would have noticed.
Side note I went to a sports bar on a night where there was only 1 game on the NBA All-​star game. Why was only 1 TV on the game?
My wings were decent.

Came in to watch some football on Black Friday. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We got a bucket of beer, 5 for $ 11 and ordered some spicy ranch and hot buffalo wings. They were AMAZING. The wings are huge, covered in goodness and cooked perfectly. The Spicy Ranch was our favorite, I highly recommend for any wing lovers out there.

1^st time visit. Got carded 3 times for my beer but after that the place was great tons of TVs and bartender gave great recommendation for the wings. I got honey BBQ and a dry rub 6 pepper both are good. Would defiantly come here again.

Was in town for business and like always searched Unilocal for some good eats. Wanted some wings and this place came up. I prefer to go to a local place over a chain any day of the week for sure. This is a nice little sports bar with plenty of TV’S and darts and pool tables. Service was a little slow. Took a while to get our order taken and seemed like food took a bit of time to come to table. I got the 8 wings buffalo hot naked and they were very good and the ranch was very good. They have a huge menu and what looked to be like alot of good stuff and a huge selection of beers. They don’t have any draft beers everything is in bottles. If you want to just relax and have a couple beers and enjoy some food this is the place for sure..

A group of us stopped in at Tailgate since we were staying right next door due to a business trip. Typically, when a group of new people drops into a local sports bar, the record screeches to a halt as soon as you walk in the door. That wasn’t the case here at all. Everyone in the place was clearly having a great time. Not a hint of negative energy in the place. The bartenders were all extremely friendly and accommodating. I asked for a Hole-​in-​one, which is not a common drink at sports bars I suppose. Instead of brushing me off, she immediately asked how to make it. 7 drinks later, I must say that those were the best Hole-​in-​ones I’ve had in a long time. Props to the emcee running Trivia, because he kept it lively and entertaining. Moments of levity, friendly competition, and instigation of general debauchery were all extremely well timed by him. I will be sure to make this a haunt any time I drop back into Savannah! KCCO!

We stopped in for a late lunch today and were impressed.
The sign on the door says 21+ only, they didn’t say anything about our toddler. Probably wouldn’t attempt to take her at dinner time without asking first.
This is definitely a sports bar, they have plenty of TVs throughout the restaurant, including a large TV at tablelevel at every booth (we picked the booth with the broken TV on purpose).
Other than 2 people at the bar, we were the only patrons. I’m sure it probably gets more lively at night.
Based on other reviews I ordered the hot wings. For buffalo their was only a mild and hot option… I’m a medium girl so I ordered the hot and it was a bit too hot for my liking but the wings were tasty. The husband ordered a Philly cheese steak which he said tasted pretty good.
They have a daily lunch special every day, and have a monthly calendar on the back page of the menu so you can know what is available the rest of the month. The lunch specials were $ 7 or $ 8 and came with a free drink. Baked Ziti, Shepard’s Pie, Pork Chops, Shrimp and Grits were some of the lunch specials for the month.

I do believe Tailgates has the best flavored wings I have ever ate. I think the flavors I tried were spicy rach and one like a honey chipotle!!! If you need a wing fix, must stop Here!!!

This place has it all! Wonderful food, good beer, Amazing staff with a cool owner, great atmosphere and all the TV’s you could need to see your game on!

Awesome sports bar! I was very impressed by the beer selection — some great craft beers in there. Gotta try the Lagunitas Lil Sump. I also got the wings — spicy teriyaki and mild. Awesome stuff, especially after a few beers.

Great place for watching College Football. If you are into craft beers this is a great place. Most are just in the bottle but I asked for a non frosted glass and they got me one. Check it out if you are in the Savannah area and want a good selection of craft beers.

Ive been here multiple times and always enjoyed it. Whether your having a beer after work for happy hour, or enjoying all the fun on Friday and Saturday night, this is a great alternative on the southside to all the crowds downtown. Great wings and great burgers, and some really hot bartenders…
