Southern Montessori Academy

Most unprofessional and unorganized child care center in Savannah. I’m not entirely sure why Ms. Grace works with children, as I was genuinely shocked when I overheard the way she spoke to them one morning when I had walked away and she thought I had left the room. I’ve seen other employees lose their temper there and apologize afterwards, but it made me extremely uncomfortable, and I felt horrible for the children. Needless to say, my child was not at this «Montessori Academy» very long. After I removed my child from the school, they billed me for multiple weeks that she did not attend. Part of this added bill was time that I requested to not be billed for because she was in another state visiting her father. They agreed not to… until I wanted to take her out of the school. It’s obvious that they’re in need of extra money; the place is a dump. However, I find it unethical to go against your word and charge someone for services that were not rendered. It’s pathetic.

I have both of my chilren enrolled in this daycare. I must say, it has been nothing but GREAT! Everyone is friendly and professional. The facility is always clean and safe. The staff has always treated my kids and my family with respect and dignity. They are always looking out for the safety of the children. I recommend this school to anyone with children from infants to pre-​k age.
