A CPA who just had to get a job working outside and with people. I love the outdoors and Savannah is Truly the perfect place to bike and its only getting better. My belief is doing everything possible to make your custumer happy. I believe bike rentals shouldn’t just be about riding a cheap beach cruiser and that is why we have the largest most diverse fleet in Savannah. I also believe in giving my customers the best deal when purchasing when purchasing a bike with the hopes I will earn their trust and respect and future business or referrals. A good review or referral is the greatest thing I can receive and I always take care of the student, military, police, and teachers.

Savannah on wheels were fantastic! They were in a great location, very easy to find. They were super friendly and helpful and even provided us a map with tips on places to go. The bikes were great and we had no problems with them, but they made sure to let us know that if we did that they would come to our rescue! Definitely highly recommend!

I didn’t actually rent a bike here, but I’d still like to give this place a 5-​star review because the customer service was great. I went here on a day trip from Florida and wanted to rent a bike to go sightseeing. Unfortunately the weather was gloomy. The owner was very patient and helpful in helping me select the right bicycle, and he also warned us about the weather. We were about to rent the bike, but he stopped us and pulled out his phone. He actually looked up the Doppler radar for us on his phone, and showed us that a storm was heading towards Savannah later in the afternoon. We ended up taking his advice and not renting the bicycle. He could’ve easily just rented us the bike and sent us on our way. This just goes to show that this is a honest business that does not try to screw over its customer just to make some extra money. Integrity is a rare value to find in businesses these days.

My husband & I were lucky to be able to extend our stay in Savannah for two days to avoid the snow on our way back to NJ on 24 January. We also got beautiful weather that day, and, as avid bikers, we decided to rent bikes & enjoy the city. This was our second bike rental in Savannah, and we both agree that the Raleigh bikes & David’s excellent personal service at «Savannah on Wheels» will make it our «go to» place for bikes on our future visits. We loved the bikes! Husband and I both had beach cruisers and we both got a lot of compliments on how awesome our bikes were. The employees gave us a map of downtown Savannah and places they liked to go for coffee and lunch. We rented the bikes for 8 hours and that was the perfect amount of time to bike around to all of the squares and go shopping at city market and the river walk. It was the perfect way to see Savannah! They offer delivery, but we drove in from South Carolina so we parked at their shop which is the perfect starting point, right next to Forsyth Park. They even put on cup holders for us and gave us a lock and bungee cord to attach to the back of our bike. Highly recommend!

Took a trip out to Wormsloe and Bonaventure. Staff was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful in planning out where to go and how to get to the different locations. Savannah on Wheels is extremely cost-​effective and they even drive you out to areas (e.g. Wormsloe) so you can bike around and then will drive you back. The bikes were in great shape as well. Savannah itself is perfect for biking: safe, quiet, beautiful areas to bike around, and great weather!

I highly recommend Savannah on Wheels. When we stayed in Savannah for the weekend, they were extremely helpful in providing us bikes to explore the parks and wildlife refuges near the area. The man and woman were both extremely helpful, and were very patient as we asked questions about their large stock of bikes. Next time we visit Savannah, we’ll be sure to stop in again! The experience in their store was the best example of «southern hospitality» we encountered. :)

I never even stepped foot in this shop and I give it 5 stars …
I travel for a living and my trusty fold up bike was stolen … I searched the internet for a shop somewhat close to where I was staying … Ended up buying two bikes both shipped to different states, a suitcase to put my new bike in and some other odds and ends … All over the phone … !!! From a couple o hundred miles and a different state away

Amazing! I was one of the first few customers to visit at their new location next to Forsyth. Ended up renting the folding electric bike for the day, and it was so much fun! I got to venture all over the city without breaking a sweat. David and Eileen were very accommodating and helpful. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Savannah.

This place was great we had a 6 person party and I called ahead to see if they had plenty of bikes. When I told the guy 6 people he told me he could give us the 6th bike for free. When we got there two (a man and woman) greeted us and showed us the selection. My friend and I showed interest in the electric bikes and they gave us a few bucks off to upgrade to them. (Best money ever spent) although my buddies bike went dead ¾ the way through the tour. No worries. They were great easy to deal with, they split up payments multiple different ways and gave us any discounts they could. The bike shop closed at 6 but we didn’t get the bikes until 230 so they told us it would be OK to be late just have them back by 7ish. Now that’s service. Highly recommend this place.

We weren’t sure if we wanted to bike since it was first week of college and saw how busy the streets were. But we are so happy that we did. They might seem a little pricey but let me tell you the bikes are worth it and they provide you with helmet and locks. We did half a day tour and we couldn’t be happier with the decision. The staff was really helpful as well. We followed the trail they gave us and we saw all the squares! Thank you guys for the wonderful riding tips and great customer service. Definitely will be coming back to ride again.

I rented 1 regular bike earlier this summer for about 5 hours. It was a quick, easy process and customer service was super friendly. They have some cool motorized bikes that will scoot you around minus the effort. That might be a good option if you’re really out of shape, have a broken foot, or just want to zip around for fun. Otherwise, I’d bet most people would be perfectly satisfied with a regular bike, which was the case for me. Your bike rental comes with helmet, lock, and basket. I recall that the rental price at this place is slightly higher than its nearby competitor, but only by a few dollars. Overall, it was a good value and I would definitely recommend it.

I have been coming to Savannah for the past three years for the chief of police conference and until I rented a electric bike from Savannah on Wheels on East Bay, I had never really seen Savannah like I did today. I rode around all day at a reasonable price and had a fantastic time. The staff was amazing and I felt as if my enjoyment was the first priority. I will come back here every time I come to Savannah.

Fantastic customer service experience. The owners were flexible to our needs, let us use their parking spot, even offered to give us a ride in their car. Aside from that, the bikes were in good condition and well priced. Slightly more expensive than the cheapest place in town, but the customer service definitely made it worth the few extra dollars. While visiting Savannah with a friend, we decided to try bikes instead of the trolley, and I’m so glad we did. The bikes were new, clean and in excellent working order, and even more importantly, David provided exceptional customer service. I hope to visit again soon, and Savannah on Wheels will be my first stop! Great value for what you get — I’m even considering purchasing an electric bike for home, because it was so much fun!
