Rocking M Ranch is a western horsemanship academy, teaching balanced riding to children and adults. Our ranch offers riding lessons, competitive instruction, and boarding to families in and around the Savannah area. Riding Lessons are very educational, fostering a love and appreciation for the horse. Riders learn to groom, saddle, bit and bridle their horse during each lesson. Lessons are hands-​on and taught in small groups and private sessions. You can enjoy our safe and trusty schooling horses while learning about horse ownership, care, nutrition, and become a self-​sufficient rider. Overnight Board, Private pasture turn out for boarded horses and short term board is also available. Contact us today for more information!

History

Established in 2009.

Rocking M Ranch is driven by the passion and commitment of a single instructor, Crystal Mindedahl-​Braden. Rocking M Ranch has been a family business for over 35 years. In 2009, we opened our Lesson Barn in Savannah, Ga. and brought Western Horsemanship to the lowcountry. With an equine career consisting of Professional Rodeo and Western Pleasure showing, Carriage Driving and Intercollegiate Hunter Jumper, Crystal brings a well rounded atmosphere to each riding lesson. We focus on Western Versatility Horsemanship, Balanced Riding, and a sincere relationship with each horse and rider. At Rocking M Ranch we strive to create a place where people of all ages and abilities can experience the joy of horses in a safe and educational environment.
