Hyatt Place Savannah Airport

Great size rooms, our bed was very comfortable and the rooms were very clean. Located in a good area (near the airport) we didnt have any noise from planes. The entire team working while we were there were excellent, friendly and wanting to make your stay welcoming and happy.

We booked our reservations through
which is a third party that works with the hotel. When we ordered Queens online and got there they did not have them.
They didn’t know what to do and did not offer to do anything.
They left us to make all these calls ourselves to solve their problem or lose our money.
We were with four elderly people who are handicapped and a pull out couch with a king is not sufficient.
We asked for double rooms. They said the rooms were next to each other but they were across.
Also the bathroom door didn’t lock, there was mold in the shower.
Beds were clean, wifi fast, and breakfast was good.

We stopped here at midnight on a road trip. The man who checked us in gave us a discount without even asking because we were checking out at 8 the next morning. Very nice place! Room was big and very clean! Very happy. :-)

We found the service and food to be great. The rooms are well-​appointed and comfortable. But housekeeping has some opportunities to improve. The stain on the carpet didn’t spoil my stay, but the stain on the sheets and pillow cases almost did. The problem was quickly fixed. I really have to compliment everyone on the service. We arrived late, and ate very late. The food and service was appreciated after a long day on the road. The hotel is well-​lit, and easily accessed from the interstate.

Thin walks. Thin windows. Would not stay again. Checked in at 2am, woken up at 6:30am by delivery trucks from biz next store. 20 min of back up warning sound. Just like alarm clock. Called front desk, they could care less.

We got here late, and I wasn’t sure how the area would be. Turned out to be a clean, well-​lit street, leading to a nice clean, well-​lit parking lot right off the interstate. In a lot of cities the airport hotels seems sketchy, but this was one was fine.
Our first room had a strong body odor smell, and we went back downstairs to ask for a change. The woman at the front desk was rude and told me there were no other rooms available (even for us as Diamond Members). She said she would find some air freshener. She went to the back held up the bottle of cleaner, and then jerked her head towards the direction she was walking indicating that we should follow her (so rude). I then had to ask again for another room even if it is a double instead of a king. We were lucky at that point another front desk agent saw what was going on and stepped in to help. She trained the other person on how to do the room switch and walked us to the elevator. The second room was fine.
The facility itself was ok. The room was basic but clean. Breakfast was just ok. With 30 minutes to go, they were out of the breakfast sandwiches, but the sign was still displayed. The attendants said that they were out and not making any more.

We went to Savannah to visit with our son and found this place on
. Seemed like a good deal but it was much more than we bargained for. I can’t say enough good things about the staff. For the 3 days we were there, I never passed anyone in the hall, front desk or anywhere where they didn’t have a friendly look and demeanor.
The room was spacious (more like a suite) clean and comfortable. Free breakfast had a griddle area where they had bagels with a fried egg, cheese, ham, tomatoes.
Just excellent all around. When we go back we will definitely stay here!

Went down for a cigarette a creepy guest wouldn’t let me get to my room. Forgot my key outside. Nobody would come to door. Then creepy guest stoops ok door telling me I am a bitch as I am tired from driving for 12 hours. Wow guess Diamond member doesn’t matter anymore!

Beautiful hotel, however, the service was poor. Got up and headed to breakfast before 9 a.m. and found that all of the food was gone, as well as most of the dishes and utensils. There was lots of noise from the kitchen but no one was replenishing the food. Tables were dirty. Had to wait an extended time to speak to the manager because he had finally gone into the kitchen to start cooking/​cleaning himself and had cut himself. Front desk staff was not engaged and didn’t seem to care about service. Also, the WiFi was down most of the night. Very disappointing. This is not the experience I have come to expect at Hyatt Place. Won’t be back to this location.

Excellent new place with some extremely friendly staff including and especially Robin. Nice pastries and Starbucks Coffee near the check in with a small wine bar type arrangement. Rooms brand new and very very nicely furnished. Rooms were spacious, smelled brand new, had tons of space and a separate TV sofa room with beautiful bathroom and standing shower. Complimentary breakfast wasn’t perfect but was filling and hit the spot (the breakfast area itself was very clean and presentation was nice). A steal for the price. Will come back for sure

This is a new hotel apparently. That is evident by the kinks that are not worked out. They were out of extra pillows, towels, and blankets. Staff was not very friendly when we inquired about these items, only telling us they would «see if they could find more» and not following up. It was only when we walked downstairs we found out about the shortage. Bring your own pack n play as they only have one for the entire property. Our infant had to sleep restlessly in the bed with us. The shower was smeared with something brown and the bedroom area smelled lightly of something foul, possibly body odor. My husband was told by another guest the breakfast area was chaos the day before with people shoving and food running out. Get there early to avoid that mess. This hotel was not cheap. I expected better.

This new and clean hotel right outside Savannah/​Hilton Head incorporates the recent improvements seen in Hyatts to include right sized hotels, faster check ins and decent amenities. be aware the pool is outside and ill suited for laps. The breakfast spread was the norm though perhaps presented better than normal. The staff was friendly and helpful. Pet owners be aware that although they welcome pets, they do so with a $ 75 surcharge. Fido spent the night in the car. This place is right by the Gulfstream plants. so if you’re fly like a G6…

We checked in at 1 am. check in was awesome, rooms were clean and roomy. Don’t count on breakfast. their spread needs improvement
