Second time here. …I keep coming back for the garlic snow crablegs. of course we come to hang out on river street and do the touristy things… but if you want some good seafood take a stroll on down to this place and get a to go plate and enjoy it in your hotel room.(It’s in the hood FYI but no worries everyone here for the food lol)… this time I was smart I stopped at the local Wal mart bought a seafood cracker and a fork… we stopped at Bo Bo and here to compare… the crabs are larger here but served cold… they are both enjoyable try both places… l like the crabs at Davids… at Bo Bo they are steamed for you which is awesome…

Forget Joe Crab shack and all those other franchise seafood restaurants. If you want soulful southern seafood with an unforgettable taste, Try this place. You can get regular seasoned crabs, shrimp or conch or get the succulent garlic flavor. For visitors, the location of this restaurant is not your touristy area however people of these area welcome visitors to get a real taste of souther seafood. Fellow customers are more preoccupied with getting their delicious order as soon as possible. This establishment is take out only.

Was referred to this place by a friend from Atlanta… she told me this was a great place. She also told me the food was great… so on my way to Hilton Head I decided to stop by to see for myself… I walk in and look around the place and there are a lot of signs about having positive energy and smiling… ummmm OK. As I approach the counter to order my food I saw this mean, angry, demonic, heavy set young girl that was very very rude. She stared me down as if she hated me… unfriendly, ghetto, unprofessional, no southern hospitality. she had a very mean disposition about herself and I thought she would spit in my food. I told her I was from out of town and she was still rude. I contacted the owner and he was just as weird and rude as her… he was loud and unprofessional acting rude, loud and country… I guess that’s what the low country is in savannah… I Dont know what it is but this place and the people that own it are evil. And the food is not all that… cold shrimp? Cold conch? Cold crabs? Yuck! And I had to pay 1.00 for them to warm it in the microwave. This place is too Wack and country for me! Never gain!

I’m truly a fan! No place I’ve ever visited has the flavor profile of David’s. I’m also a of the stuffed crab, garlic crabs, and garlic shrimp. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. This is not a sit down restaurant, but more like a market with prepared seafood. I will always stop through here if I’m in Savannah!

In my opinion, the best conch in the city. My family enjoys the shrimp garlic crabs as well. Not much else to say!

This is my absolute favorite place to get garlic crabs in savannah. I go there for crabs shrimp and conch. These items are offered all precooked or raw. They are a seafood market so their are other things to choose from. But this is the go to place for my family and friends. I’ve Never b een disappointed. Some of us live in about 2 hours away. And although we have family in savannah we will sometimes make a trip just for David’s. And FYI their is another place on this street also called David’s Cha. They’re good too but David’s is my favorite.
