It is probably in your best interest to go to another hotel if you have another $ 20 in your pocket. This place upon check-​in smelled from dirty people. The hallways were under construction. The room had pain peeling off the walls. The furniture was sticky. Overall this was a very regretful decision and I’m typing this in the dirty hotel room. I really don’t even want to sleep on the bed. Please dont’ make my mistake.

At this exit (104) off I95 there’s a large collection of hotels, restaurants and a Tanger Outlet! We selected this hotel due to the reasonable price. It is so new it smelled new! The room was good sized with an apartment sized refrigerator and microwave. The queen-​sized beds and shower were great. There’s a nice lobby with lemon water and cookies. The breakfast buffet in the morning had a nice selection of food. I would definitely return — if the price continues to be so competitive!

I stayed at this hotel location back in June and purchased the room in full through a third party. But, I was charged another night stay from my debit card on file that was supposed to be just for incidentals ($ 10). How did a $ 10 incidental fee become a $ 119 transaction? When I spoke to the young lady at the front desk she had this dumb founded look on her face and couldn’t assist at all. I contacted my bank who refund my money hotel received two stars for the beds which was comfortable and the breakfast.

Staff not friendly! Your in the south sugar, lighten up! Rooms okay. Parking not great! A little pricy for what you get!

The hotel is very close to I95. Front desk personal was nice. It was a busy night and she was friendly. The room was not as clean as other Country Inn & Suites by Carlson. We left before breakfast was ready. It’s a quiet location. There were enough towels in the room. Our room had a king size bed and a completely separate living room area with its own television.

The only positive thing I can say about this hotel was that the staff was very friendly and helpful. Now to the negative, the premises and room were very dirty. The carpet in the hall and room looked like it needed vacuuming, lots of dust in room, hairs on the pillowcases and bathroom floor, and a huge stain on the carpet next to the bed. Just gross. I was very pleased though when I brought it to the staff’s attention that they were very apologetic and even offered a full refund for our unpleasant experience. Upon speaking with the manager she informed me that they were in the process of making many improvements. If that is true then there is hope that this place will be better in the future.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Missed breakfast the first day, didn’t realize it ended at 9:30 but the next 2 days it was good! Close enough to everything but far enough that you aren’t in the chaos of town

Stayed here after a long day of traveling from the west coast! Let me first start by saying that this hotel has a wonderful staff everyone was very friendly and helpful! Unfortunately that did not make up for the fact that this hotel is in need of some major renovations! The shuttle to the airport stops at 10pm and the next day when we needed to get back to the airport the shuttle was broken down! The rooms were pretty clean but the tv kept shorting out. The breakfast was also not impressive. The eggs were gross and they didn’t refresh it often. We will not stay here again. There is a doubletree right next door and that’s def the place to be!

This is a good overnight place located near I-​95, the airport, and a restaurant chain hub.

You choose to stay at the Country Inn & Suites by Carlson Savannah Airport because your wife is incredibly understanding, and is okay with using all of that money you saved on a hotel room on the rental of a red Ford Mustang. There really isn’t much else of a good reason to make this decision. Let me explain.
Pros:
+ The low cost allowed me to rent a red Ford Mustang.
+ Quiet location and room.
+ Free WiFi (though it did crap out on the last day).
Cons:
— It’s not really in Savannah. Yes, Google Maps would have told this to you too, but just wanted to make sure you knew. To get to downtown Savannah, you’re looking at a 15 – 20 minute drive.
— Breakfast is mediocre.
— The rooms smelled a little like stale fart. Or just carpet that is really old, and plenty of dirty people who don’t properly bathe have made use of the rooms.
— The bedspread had a dried blood stain on it. Wasn’t ours.
If you’re in the area, and are looking for a cost effective place to stay, you can consider this property. Otherwise, in the immediate vicinity (walking distance), there are other hotels that look better (at least on the surface).

Upon planning a trip to visit Savannah, GA I fired up «old red» to find out where the best places to stay would be for the value and this place came up with good reviews. Everything from cookies being made and out for guests at 5PM nightly to nice spacious rooms this was the place my girl and I booked through Orbitz at a discounted rate of $ 95 a night. Located nearby the local airport and surrounded by what has to be about 10 other hotels and inns this place is located conveniently off of I-​95 (like 5 minutes convenient).
We arrived at this Country Inn and Suites location around 5:30 PM and upon checking in the first thing I was looking for was the cookies which were on a table in a case reminiscent of the one you’d find at your local Subway harboring Otis Spunkmeyer cookies. There were only 2 left in the case that day but for some reason I didn’t bum rush the case. Probably because I was still full off my lunch from Cook-​Out earlier as well as some snacks along the way.
So what does $ 95/​night for 3 nights get you at Country Inn and Suites? We got a King Studio Room on the first floor, close to the main lobby and also close to the alternate exit at the side of the Inn. It was more than enough room for us and had what had to be the highest ceilings we had ever seen in a room. So much so that at times we could hear our own echo when we talked at normal levels. When you walk in immediately in front of you is a long standing mirror for you to dress in front of or to let you know how plastered you are after having a few drinks out on the town (thankfully the latter did not happen on this vacation). To our right was the bathroom which had a standard toilet, and standing shower/​tub, along with a sink which had ample room for our individual toiletries. I must say the water pressure in the bathroom was on point. I’ve never heard a toilet whoosh so loud and flush so fast in my life! The towels in the room were a little harsh on the skin when drying off. Kinda on the verge of drying off with sandpaper, but that may be nitpicking.
There is also a nice small fridge along with a microwave next to the bathroom door as well as a coffee machine along with the daily coffee grounds and creamers. We never used them since they practically had coffee in the main lobby around the clock.
The room is actually split into two areas, before you get to the King size bed there is a lounge area with a desk and comfy computer chair that while industrial looking, reclined pretty far. There’s also a coffee table and pull out sofa bed. This room could easily accommodate two couples comfortably. There was plenty of drawers for clothes as well as hangers for jackets. The TV was a 32″ Vizio with plenty of channels, more than the average fare. I would say there had to be close to 70 – 80 channels to surf through. The only downfall was that there wasn’t a sleep timer on the remote. The bed itself was very comfortable with 4 pillows and comfortable sheets.
That being said there were two other things that we didn’t like about the room. First, the walls and ceilings are pretty thin. We could hear the footsteps from people walking in the room above us as well as occasional conversation from people in the room next to us or out in the hall. The other thing is our room was on the ground floor and had large windows facing the front of the parking lot. So needless to say we didn’t have the curtains open during our stay to let a lot of natural light come through during our stay.
The amenities such as the pool and spa area were ok. 5 ft deep pool and warm jacuzzi were nice to take a dip in after a long day of touring and driving. The breakfast was so-​so. There was a station where you could make your own Belgian Waffle along with a Hot Station which had Formed Egg Patties and a variety of breakfast items like diced ham, biscuits and gravy, or seasoned potatoes. Cereal, coffee, tea, and a few fruit items were available as well.
This Country Inn and Suites is about 15 – 20 minutes a way from Historic Downtown Savannah which is a plus in that you save money than booking a hotel right in the heart of downtown. It’s a nice place to rest your head and for the room we got and the price per night was a good value. Not to mention it is about 5 minutes away from restaurants in the area along with a Publix Supermarket and Walmart in case you forgot to pack something. Definitely booking a place in this area again on a return trip.

Nice hotel with indoor pool and hot tub. New saltwater filter for pool is great. Beds are comfortable and rooms were clean. Staff friendly except younger woman in kitchen. Bit my head off when asked for more glasses so I could get juice. Family here for wedding several night spread out in three rooms. Elevator was worked on twice during four night stay but was taken care of quickly. Pool maintenance Friday afternoon.

This hotel’s rooms are mostly clean and comfortable. The room I was in had a fridge and microwave which was nice since I was here for almost two days. As far as location, it is close to the airport and has a dedicated van for transportation unless it is later at night. Close to the hotel there are 2 gas stations that are open 24 hours, but remember they don’t sell beer down here on Sundays WTF?! About a mile away from the hotel there is a little commercial district with a Ruby Tuesdays, Walmart, and some other sorts of fast food.
Not too much around here in the excitement area, but it is still a decent hotel. They do attempt to have a manager’s special but it wasn’t anything special except free Miller Lite and some rice dish that was by no means considered a meal. The breakfast though is certainly adequate. The staff is also very friendly.

I stayed near the airport due to a daylong flight from the west coast. I started to worry about the low price and wondered what kind of place it would be. WRONG TO WORRY! The rooms are great and very comfortable. There is free wifi. The place is clean and family oriented. The front desk people are super friendly. Now, I just came back from staying two nights at another place. This place is twice as nice at half the cost. I am here on vacation and business and have decided to stay here another night before flying home. I will be in a 4-​star hotel the next few nights on my employer’s dime but this place suits me fine on my budget ;-)

Very new hotel right near the Savannah airport. Helpful front desk personnel; I called to get an airport shuttle at midnight when my flight arrived, and was told their shuttle stopped at 10, but he would call a neighboring hotel to pick me up in their shuttle. When I got to the hotel, he had the checkin documents all ready for me to sign. The room and bed were quite comfortable, and nice and clean. Free wi-​fi is a nice feature, and a flat screen TV with lots of channels. Interesting breakfast included — the usual toast, bagels, yogurt, fruit, etc., but also sausages and a waffle maker! The pool was being worked on, but I wasn’t planning on using it in any case. Overall pleasant stay.
