Decent food, good beer selection, awesome sports bar for watching football or whatever… first night i came it reeked of burnt fryer oil though which made it a little less enjoyable

First of all, I have to respond to two one-star reviews posted earlier… First, in response to a review posted earlier complaining about being it being noisy… well, DUH… its a sports bar for crying out loud… We were there on mid-afternoon Thursday and it WASNOT noisy… You gotta expect that if you go here from Friday evenings through Sunday evening during FOOTBALL time… i would be disappointed if those watching the games weren’t getting«into» them… Now, as to the review complaining about the TV’s being on the Georgia and Alabama game… REALLY…this is the heart of Dixie sweetheart and UGA and GSC and other local football games are required watching… I hate to say it but if you wanted to watch the Cornhuskers or Sooners or whomever instead… well, SORRY… there’s alot of other places with TVs who wouldn’t care what mess you asked them to put on it… NOW…as to my review… here it goes… I went in there with my lady friend… neither of us drank alcohol despite their being plenty for sale… and this is NOT a dive bar with a bunch of drunks… there were white collar businessmen and their were blue collar workers, all busy eating and talking… This is NOT one of those artsy-fartsy bars like you find downtown with all their frufruey(is that a word??) hype and inflated prices… As to our waitress… Tara…very attentive and quick on the draw.,.our drinks arrived in a flash… and out food arrive hot off the grill… she ordered the Chicken Wings… flavored Texas Pete and b utter… and she said they were the perfect combination of kick and full of meat… takeher word, folks, this woman is a wing fanatic… I ordered the Grand Slam burger… a mega-meat masterpiece if i don’t mind saying so myself… topped with a thick slice of fresh tomato and a good ring of onion and fresh lettuce… it sat in between two bun halves. What makes that special is neither did the bun get soggy and gross as the burger was eaten… as happens on other restaurant buns more often than i care to say… and the twin burger patties did NOT disappear into all the toppings for they were truly two bun-sized and then some fresh patties… which were also cooked to perfection… and not either raw or burned beyond belief… SOOO…We will be going back, as im sure there are other things i am looking forward to trying… and my lady friend is already asking for more of their wings… this meal WAS a true pleasure…

LOUDLOUDLOUD, but I guess that’s what comes from a sports bar. We were passing through on our way back to Tybee. We should have eaten on River Street, regret it now. The food was ok, it took forever and the waitress was prancing around barely stopped long enough to put the food on the table although there were other staff working she seemed to be too busy to interact, offer the specials, etc. It was like pulling teeth to get her to answer to any questions about the menu.

There’s no Southern Hospitality here. Called ahead to make sure we could watch the Nebraska game, knowing it was Georgia/Alabama game day. 60 televisions, the manager wouldn’t put even one on the game for us. Come to Lincoln so we can show you what hospitality looks like.

I love Coach’s Corner! I world near by and go in often I know one of the owners from going in so much and she is always nice. I went in this week and order the leapin’ lizard wings(a little hot and a little tangy) they were great. Not only that but everything was hot and fresh. I can’t speak on the wait time since I placed a to-go-order. Great place to eat and hang with friends!

This places has a great hometown, local feel to it. The staff is very friendly and treats you like a regular right off the bat. Great beer selection for a «divey» kind of bar. Pool tables in the back and did I mention the food? It’s excellent. I had the grand slam burger and it was nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend this place if you want cold beer and food and don’t want to fight downtown crowds.

This was hard to choose because the food was fantastic. We had a pizza and it was the best we have had since we moved here. I gave it three stars, however, because the service was mediocre at best. It was very difficult to flag her down to get refills on drinks and she tried to bring our check before we were finished. Overall I would recommend this place for great food but if you are not«regulars» be prepared to wait.

Interesting place. We went on a Friday night. There was baseball, hockey and basketball on the TVs and we were the only ones watching. They were playing trivia… in a sports bar on a busy night. Weird. We tried the lemon pepper wings and the medium chicken fingers. They were both good — not delicious, but good. They have a good selection of beer and a full bar. Service was a little slow but we were watching the game so it didn’t matter. We’ll probably go back to watch games.

Awesome sports bar with all of the games on, great service, and food. It gets packed on football Sunday’s especially when Atlanta plays so get there early.

A pizza worse than Pizza Hut! If I was not so freaking hungry I would have driven back to return it for a refund. Took 10 mins and 3 try’s to get someone to answer the phone and actually take the order. Pizza was not cooked, very doughy and toppings were raw. Not sure they even put it in a pizza oven? Not worth the $ 15 they charged for this crap. If I could rate it 0 stars I would. First and last time I will go there.

Not a sports fan, just a fan of good chicken. My friends and I are new in town and we were really craving wings. We ended up getting a ton of chicken fingers and they were delicious. I was worried they were going to be the frozen kind, but they were not! Very fresh and the tiger sauce was great. It’s a sweet sauce with a spicy kick. Go with seasoned fries, they are better than the regular fries.

This is great place to watch a game. I think every team is on a screen some where in here. Great Steelers bar. Steelers on the big screen every game. Lots of trash talking but all in fun. Service I’d slow but this place is packed. If your just passing through get here early. The regulars have there spots but they are very Friendly and more than happy to enjoy the name with a fellow fan. Food is just your typical bar food so don’t expect a 4 star meal here. All in all it is a great place to hang with your favorite sports team

The gator bait wrap was good what you would expect out of a wrap. Price exceptional. Not from the area but worth stopping by. Overall good and service was also good.

A decent sports bar to watch a game, get some grub, and enjoy some beer. The service is pretty mediocre — not good or not bad. Their wings and seasoned fries are awesome — I definitely recommend the tiger sauce. It’s nice that they offer a free order of onion rings when you check in, but they’re really not that great. I’ve heard that their salads are good as well, but I’ve never tried them.

We stopped in here on our way back into downtown Savannah. We had the chicken tender app with honey mustard app and the Pac-10 wraps, which were good. They had a big beer and liquor selection. The bartender was kinda blah, and the manager had to ask me to move my car, but he did so rudely. They did have the Red Sox game on, and they had small flat screens at all the booths, so points for that. The kitchen staff seemed upbeat from what we could see and hear. But, overall the whole experience was kind of meh. Average.

In my opinion, these guys make the best wings in Savannah. The waitresses are nice and tons better than Wild Wing Café(The management at Coach’s Corner actually hires waitresses that work). Lately I’ve been coming here for trivia and snacks. The trivia drags on a little longer than I’d like, but then that’s probably because I have a hard time sitting in one place for too long. The prices are a little higher than I’d like on fried food, but all around this is a great place to meet up with friends and have a drink and some food.

If you are looking for a place to watch your team play, while have a beer, and eating some wings this is your place. Local sports bar with TV’s everywhere. If you sit in a both you have your own TV for what ever game you like. During football season you better get here early on a Saturday or Sunday because this place gets packed. During the week they have a daily lunch special that are usually not regular menu items, fried pork chops, spaghetti, bbq chicken, with all the fixins. The menu food is your typical bar food such as wings, nachos, burgers, chicken fingers, sliders, and pizza. Wings are one of my favorite foods on earth and this place makes some good one. They have several different flavors but my go to are the Texas Pete and Butter. The other thing I really enjoy is there fish sandwich which they do an excellent job at. They staff here is all ways nice and the regulars treat you like anyone else. They do a great job of bringing in good bands for those into that. If you are a Georgia Southern Fan and cant make an away game this is a great place to watch the game. They usually do a great job making us fell welcome.

Came here for trivia and drinks. A good place to watch any game as they have TVs all over the place. Trivia was really fun and the drink choices are vast. I would not mind trying some food next time I came in

The weekend I came to Savannah, UFC was on. I may be a chick but I love me some MMA. Just something about two men trying to beat the tar out of each other in little sexy shorts that gets a girl’s adrenaline going. We went on the UFC website and searched all these different places and couldn’t find anywhere in Savannah that had the UFC that night. Coach’s was the only spot that we could find, so it won by default. This place reminded me a lot of Beef O’ Bradys. I don’t know if ya’ll in Savannah know what that is, but that’s a place near me. It’s a touch divey but I mean that with the most love and respect that I possibly can, cause I can get down with a good dive bar. They have lots of TV’s so you know whatever sport or event you want to watch, they’ll have it on at least one of the tubes. They had a decent selection of beers. The night we were there they had a special on buckets, so anything that saves me a little money gets a high five. The fried pickles were the highlight of my night, my trip and my overall life. The rest of the food was awesome too. Only downside I can think of is that there was a cover to get in. I just hate covers for the sheer principle of it. You already know I’m going to be here for the next 3 hours to watch this event and I’m going to be eating and drinking a ton, so really?! Was that necessary? Hmm… I know, I know. There ARE people that go and don’t order anything, so I understand why but that still doesn’t make me on board. Down with cover charges.
