I love this library. It is a large, beautiful building, and the employees are friendly. The selection leaves something to be desired, but fortunately you can easily put books from the Live Oak system on hold online to pick them up at whichever branch you want. When that’s included, I can get pretty much any book I want. I don’t have a printer, so this is where I go when I need to print something. You can just add money to your library card and there are many computers upstairs. If you want to use a computer for a longer period, you sign up through the appointment system, but if you just need it for a few minutes, there are stand-up computers that you don’t have to sign up for. The cost for printing b&w is 10c per page. The library also has a decent selection of DVDs which are free to rent. There are no overdue fees unless you keep a book long enough to get an overdue notice(a few weeks), which is $ 2. This branch is now open on Saturdays in addition to Sundays, which is great as well.

Brought the Toddler here for a special Winnie the Pooh story time, she really enjoyed it so we will be returning for their normal story time. Live Oak’s main website has calendars for all the branches. The library itself is gorgeous and very clean inside. Because of the location the outside was a bit run down and dirty– trash on the ground including empty beer cans and liquor bottles and overflowing trashcans. Inside there is a small room with books and dvds for sale. I didn’t see anything too great for sale but the prices are good($ 1 for HC and.50 for paperback). I didn’t look beyond the toddler/kid book area, but there was a great selection, which I would presume is the same for the rest of the library.

Pretty broad selection. Plenty of computers. Good place to study. Located just south of two espresso joints if you need a boost in your endeavors. If you need a library card, make sure you bring a copy of something that has your local address on it.
