What a great way to tour the city! Our guide was wonderful! very knowledgeable about the city!

This was more fun than I imagined it to be! If you’re worried about getting the hang of it– don’t be. Was super easy to pick up!
The tour itself is very entertaining and informative (we did the historical tour, but they also offer the movie tour, and a tour of Tybee island) and the two guides that we had the pleasure of being lead by (Lisa and Dana) were SUPER welcoming, professional, knowledgeable, and reassuring.
I would do this again in a heartbeat!
Oh! And they also offer fun character helmets, if you want to get silly (think unicorn, monkey, etc.)
Meeting Max the giant poodle was a treat in and of itself! Hi Max!

An excellent decision!
Ten minutes till three, my fiancé and I were in town and happened to drive by this place while on route to park and sight see Savannah on foot. Their Segway sign caught our attention and we decided that touring on a Segway would be more fun. Turned out to be very enjoyable!
Since the decision was in the spur of the moment we had no idea their last tour is at three o’ clock. Luckily and thankfully, Diana let us go with her three o’ clock historical tour.
She was very friendly and accommodating to not only us but also to the rest of the group. The majority of us have not been on a Segway and she truly taught us well because we all got on with no problem. An easy ride for sure.
She even gave each of us complementary water before heading out.
Being on a Segway and touring the city did not disappoint. Diana is an awesome and well informative tour guide. She made sure our group was safe from pedestrians and motorists at all times. She was in no rush for those wanting to take pictures and enjoy the scenery.
At the end of the tour we all agreed that this is fun. Next time my fiancé and I are in town, we’ll be back.
The experience is extremely recommended for those touring the city; be it on foot, carriage, bike, or bus… do it on a Segway. After all, how often do you get to ride a Segway?

We bought our tickets on Groupon. As such, it was $ 45 per person as opposed to the standard $ 75 per person. We both agreed that $ 75 would have been too much for this tour.
The building where you meet and do your training was clean and decorated in a cheery manner. The two women who led the tour were very friendly (the one who I believe was the owner was more friendly than the other lady). There’s also a large poodle named Max who has free rein inside the shop! I love dogs and Max was extremely well behaved and very cute.
The training for riding the Segway involved a short video and brief one-​on-​one training inside the building. They don’t suggest flip flops, but a couple people wore them and they seemed fine.
The tour we purchased was the movie tour. It was an okay tour, and I learned a few tidbits. Mostly the Segway was fun. I would select a different themed tour (they offer several) unless you are really into movies. While we rode, one employee led the tour and the other lady acted as a traffic guard and kept the group together.
There are storage bins on the front of the Segway, but they aren’t very large. Consider leaving large purses in your trunk. They also have ponchos in the pouch in case it rains and they give you a water bottle.
Overall, it was a fun Segway adventure run by friendly people.

We had a city tour, and found the whole experience to be wonderful. Lisa was our guide, and she was very friendly and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the city and had so much fun on the Segways.

My husband & I took the Segway Bonaventure Cemetery tour. I’ve wanted to do this for quite a while and Adventures in Motion did not disappoint.
We were greeted at the door by Max the biggest sweetest standard poodle I’ve ever seen. We then met Tess our tour guide for the day. AiM stresses safety first and foremost. We watched a short film on the do’s and don’t of Segway riding. Then we practiced riding a Segway before driving to Bonaventure.
Tess was an excellent tour guide and Segway coach. She was very informative about the history of the cemetery and individual graves without being dry and ‘preachy’. Also, as a native Savannahian she added some local color to our tour.
I highly recommend Adventures in Motion and the Bonaventure Segway tour. It was a high point on our trip to Savannah.

I love Segway tours, and this one was no disappointment. The movie tour was fun & informative, you get to wear a headset so you can listen to your guide while you drive and not have to wait till you stop with your group. Really nice segways, very friendly tour guides!!! Would definitely do another tour with them on my next trip.

A definite must do in Savannah!!! We went on the movie Segway tour this weekend. What fun! Tess, our tour guide, was really funny and entertaining as we are all her pets. Her tour partner was really nice too and made such a difference in organizing the tour along the way. The tour was well planned, informative and a different perspective on Savannah than the historic tour. A lot of history is included but adding in the movie scenes made it really cool. The Segway’s were awesome, I seriously want one! All of us got the hang of them really quickly, much faster than I think most of us thought. I would highly recommend this tour and this tour company. I will book another tour with them when we return.

These guys are absolutely fantastic! There were 3 of us on our Segway tour. None of us had ever been on one and the staff at Adventure Tours provided patient, informative, and clear instructions. Due to a quickly approaching thunderstorm, we got a late start to our tour and everyone made us feel comfortable while we waited, including Max, the coolest, cutest, most playful dog. We had a great time on the tour while learning about the city’s gorgeous historic buildings and parks. This is an excellent thing to do if you’re a first– or second-​timer to Savannah or even if you’ve been a hundred times. Did I mention this is FUN?

Our family of four decided to try a Segway tour of historical savannah and it was great! Staff were super nice and helpful. Riding the Segway was easier than expected. Our tour guide even recommended a very popular lunch spot, mrs Wilkes boarding house and gave us a ride over there because she was going to be going right by there on another errand! Highly recommended!

We were visiting Hilton Head, SC and decided to take a day trip to Savannah, GA. On our way there we searched our Living Social Deals and came across Adventure Tours in Motion. I called them and within minutes they had us set up for a 1:30 pm tour. It didn’t matter that there were 9 of us, all different ages, ranging from 12 to 45. None of us had ever rode a Segway before. They were friendly, patient and very helpful. The business was clean, the Segways were new and they were easy to use. We had 6 teenagers in our group and taking a historical tour on Segways kept them interested and made the tour fun. I would definitely recommend this business!

Fun and unique way to tour Savannah! The segways were really fun becoming accustomed to drving them within the first 5 minutes with instruction we were ready to zip around town. Had family in town and segwaying all a around the historic district with knowledable tour guides and as a local even learned a few more things about Savannah’s History!

Our family loaded up the van and headed to Hilton Head for vacation. Since grandma and grandpa came, they agreed to watch the kids so my wife and I could take a day trip to Savannah. We didn’t know what to expect, nor did we do much research for things to do. So, we searched TripAdvisor.
Segway tours came up and we chose Tours in Motion, and we’re so glad we did. We chose the 60 minute tour of the Historic District.
Upon entering, we were welcomed by their super friendly Poodle «mascot.» The inside was welcoming, clean, and fun. Tours in Motion is a new outfit (Feb 2015) and their place has that new car smell.
Luckily for us, my wife and I were the only ones signed up for the 2:00 tour, so we were given the private tour treatment. We signed the standard waiver that states we are liable for being stupid on the Segways, and TIM is liable if the Segways wig out on us. We were then asked to watch a brief safety video showing what to do and what not to do. All of their Segways are brand new. Clean and safe. We had 10 minutes of inside training on the Segway and then another 10 minutes in the parking lot. We picked it up quickly and were on the road soon after.
Gary, our tour guide was energetic and informative. He made us really glad we decided to tour the city via Segway. We learned so much about the history, the squares, the trees, and the infamous Forrest Gump bus stop spot. We even had our pictures taken at the end of the tour.
During the tour we wore walkie-​talkie headsets. Yes, they did cut out periodically, but as Gary instructed, once you hit the push to talk button, the communication came back in. No big deal, and I didn’t find doing so caused much of a detraction from the experience.
When we returned, we had a nice conversation with the owner. The whole team was energetic and fun. If you’re looking for a fun, exciting, and clean experience, I HIGHLY recommend Tours in Motion.

This tour was awesome! Tess was funny and informative! The Segway was so much fun and easy to use, after 2 minutes we wanted to speed around but were captured by Savannah’s history! It seems like most tours won’t be more than 8 people, so they’re intimate– you have an earpiece to hear your guide so you won’t miss anything while you’re looking around and cruising the streets. Much better than walking! Would do this again and again! Thank you Tess and team!!!
