Gym memberships are open/annual renewal. Therefore, once you’ve fulfilled the initial contract the gym membership automatically withdrawals/charges your credit card. You must then give a 30 notice of cancelation NOT to the actual gym you have been attending. But a payment processing center based out of the region. Furthermore, gym memberships here are pricey and not competitive. 24⁄7 is a monopoly of this region. Stay away from these gym’s and go with the YMCA, it is not 24⁄7 but is much more reasonable with the price and services.

Two and a half stars! At nighttime, this is a creeper’s gym! Yikes! There is no staff after 8pm, this is good and bad. I suppose the lack of staff gives creepers the green light in make this their lair or seedy den for the night. I bought a day pass for a friend and myself as we were merely passing through – we got a door access card good for one day’s use. Sounds okay, yes? Uh huh. It would have been just fine if it weren’t for the creepy crawly creepers. We all know what kind of gym people I’m talking about… let’s not go there. The gym is limited, but is good in a pinch. There aren’t any plate loaded Hammer Strength-style stations. You’re stuck to those Nautilus-style machines – but of course there’s all the free weights – but that’s a whole different website where the story should be told.

I just got a Valpack flyer for this place that said if I was one of the first 100 people to sign up, it would only be $ 19.99 a month. No strings attached!!! Well, when I met with the manager to sign up, he stated that this required a 3 year contract, paid in full. A two year contract was $ 24.99 a month. He didn’t offer anything else. Funny thing is, there was no mention of contract length on that flyer. The advertising is misleading at best, false at worst. Where I come from, we call that a bait-and-switch. Whatever you want to call it, the whole thing felt icky. I’ll take my fat self somewhere else; there are a million fitness centers in Savannah without contracts and more honest pricing.
