This is our spot for Japanese cuisine. Good sushi and traditional dishes at great prices. I feel more comfortable bringing the whole family here than I do at other sushi restaurants, and it’s less of an event than the hibachi style places. Fast service rounds out the experience. They have no turn over so the wait staff has literally watched my family grow. I Hate that we will be moving 15 miles away from this place… thankfully there is another Sakura close to where we are moving. I’ll be rating it soon.

Sushi is okay. Their entrees are great! They always give you a lot and it’s pretty filling! I usually get their steak entrée, dumplings and often times sushi. They’re friendly and my go to when I can’t decide what’s for dinner!

Good sushi and at a good price. The service was excellent, very friendly, and speedy. We did take out and ordered there, it was ready pretty fast. The crab rangoons were to die for! :)

Love this place! Service is iffy, as with most Asian joints but sushi is A1! I always order the shrimp tempura roll, and the Venus roll. So so good and very quick!

I loved the sushi!!! The udon soup… not so much. I ordered the shrimp udon soup and they put fried shrimp in soup. Maybe it’s just me but I don’t like soggy fried shrimp. The service was pretty quick so if you’re in a bit of a hurry, it would be good for you. The soup made me hesitant to return, seeing as that was the main part of my meal. But like I said, the sushi was delicious!!!

The food was brought to my table in a timely manner. I was so thrilled with their sushi after trying some other places in savannah. The food is quite authentic Japanese — everything was delicious and of high quality. The display of sushi was very neat. The sunset roll and bobbi roll I had were so buttery and fresh. A great family restaurant in Berwick area. Recommend it!

Nice and quaint restaurant. The teriyaki steak is very good. The sauce is unlike any other sauce I’ve tasted at other Japanese restaurants. Also, the prices are not too bad.

I love this place. It’s nearby my place and I always order Togo. The Venus roll is amazing and I get it once a week :) prices are pretty reasonable also. I’d recommend to anyone.

I probably should have ventured a little farther from home. Oh well next time I’ll try a place with more stars

Quality of the food was not good. We had teriyaki steak and chicken. The sauce was more like bbq, and added after the meat was cooked. Steak cuts were poor quality. Chicken seemed to be frozen breaded cut warmed/fried for our meal. None of us liked the soup. Service was good, but will not return.

Ahh pretty middle of the road. Not as high quality of a location as its sister store on the corner of Montgomery X-roads and Waters, but it’ll do. The service was very spotty, I might add.

Well the Sushi is ok. A little over priced, but tasty. I was pretty sad that my friend ordered something she didn’t like and the manager made a big deal over the 5 dollar item. The manager got very loud and yelled at our server until my Friend finally told her she just didn’t care for it. The lady then yelled at my friend and still charged us for the item. I would have let the 5 dollars go seeing as the two of us had eaten there 3 times within two weeks. I will not be back due to this poor management style.

With the exception of Tangerine, this is the best sushi in the southside of Savannah. Tastes fresh, not fishy. Their tempura is very good, not greasy. Their meat+veggie rice bowls are a winner too. Honestly, all the«Japanese» food places I’ve been to in Savannah seem to be heavily influenced by Chinese cuisine, same goes for the Thai food places. Sometimes I’m in the mood for straight up authentic Japanese… but I’ll take what I can get considering my choices. On the downside, they did screw up my order once. I ordered rolls and they gave me nigiri. I got home and opened the box like wtf? having never seen it before. I ate it anyway, but still, I had my mouth set on what I actually ordered.

I love this restaurant better than other Asian cuisine in the area. The food is fresher, and always tastes good. Quality in consistent. Service is really good, they always remember me and great me when i come in. Staff is friendly, food is good. I think this is the most underrated restaurant. You should go try the sesame chicken, the boston roll, miso soup and Ginger salad :)

I think the restaurant is operated by Chinese and not Japanese. I had shrimps udon noodle soup. The soup base is more like Chinese type with soy sauce in it. I did not taste any bonito favor that normally Japanese cuisine would have. Nonetheless the shrimps were cooked perfectly and not rubbery. Overall it is good. I guess the Asian cuisine can be quite limited in the South and in this sub-urban area.
