The ACCUA HydroWorx® pool features a blend of a motorized, in-​water treadmill, battery of water jets and adjustable water depth. The system is computer controlled, allowing adjustment of treadmill speed and water jet pressure to the needs of each individual. As a result, athletes can gain full aerobic benefit while building speed, strength and agility. And, as it is all done in water, gains come with virtually no impact, making the system ideal for individuals returning after injury.

History

Established in 2006.

The pool also opens all of that training capability in a naturally buoyant, low impact environment perfect for people returning from injuries or who face physical challenges that make conventional exercise, difficult, painful or impossible. Athletes recovering from injuries and surgery can get into full and demanding aerobic workouts almost immediately, accelerating recovery dramatically. And others can tap into the benefits of advanced fitness training where they once found walking a few steps difficult or impossible.
