History

Established in 1983.

Studio D and it’s creators had an urge to build the Bay Area’s ultimate live room. They spent a lot of time researching the best rooms in the recording community that have created great live spaces to record. They took from all of these examples and designed a room that had the unique qualities to capture live sound. It also enabled the artist to perform live in the studio and capture the magic in the recording, Thirty years later they are still going strong and have recorded multiple award winning albums from some of the area’s most talented and established artists.
