Keiser Marine offers the most comprehensive vessel inspections and survey reports in the Bay Area. With 19 years of experience in the marine industry, we can answer all of your questions regarding the purchase of a vessel as well as recommend reputable local businesses to handle repairs and maintenance.
We offer detailed inspections for all vessels but specialize in sailboats. We will even climb the mast on all pre-purchase surveys to examine the standing rigging to give you a complete assessment of the vessel’s condition. We also offer insurance surveys, comprehensive rigging surveys, customized sea trials and pre-cruise surveys.
For our out of state clients, we offer consulting surveys on prospective boats found on-line. This reasonably priced option gives you an idea of the condition of the vessel before flying out or paying for a full pre-purchase inspection. All of our surveys are competitively priced with outstanding personal service. All major credit cards and PayPal are accepted.

Keiser marine has 19 years of experience in the marine industry with work in yacht restoration, sailing charters, long range cruising, marine archeology and marine surveying. Jeff Keiser, our principal surveyor is a valedictorian graduate of Chapman’s School of Seamanship Surveyor Program. We use our diverse experience in the marine industry to provide you with thorough marine reports you can rely upon.

Business Owner
Jeff Keiser is a Survey Associate member of SAMS® (Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors), the most respected marine surveyors association in the world. Jeff has worked in the marine industry for more than 17 years. He has captained research vessels and numerous pleasure charters in the Caribbean, Pacific Ocean and Puget Sound. In Southern Florida, Jeff restored classic yachts and graduated from Chapman School of Seamanship’s surveyor program. Jeff Keiser draws upon extensive and diverse experience in the marine industry to thoroughly evaluate and value your vessel. In addition to survey reports, Jeff offers consultation services that include damage assessment and sailing lessons for coastal and offshore cruising.
