Always weary about chiropractic work, I had been avoiding getting treatment for chronic neck, back, and shoulder pain for a little over two years. It wasn’t until I reached the point of miserable one day at work that I decided I needed to actually do something. Dr. Dahl was highly recommended to me and now I can see why. Within a month of seeing her, my rib torque was gone, my hunchback shoulders finally relaxed, and the stiffness in my neck that had made me dread even just sitting up had disappeared. Dr. Dahl didn’t just provide me relief through adjustments, she came up with a care plan that really works to heal my trouble areas and mitigates future damage to my body. I feel stronger, more emotionally stable, less tense, and a general sense of ease that I didn’t even know I was capable of feeling. Make the investment in yourself, (which is actually very reasonable for chiropractic work,) she’s really worth it!

I have had severe back and neck pain for over 6 years, which was made worse by a car accident 2 years ago. I’ve been seeing Dr. Dahl for about half a year. First twice a week then once a week. My pain level has gone done by half. At the beginning of everyday I was in pain, and by the end of the day I was in agony. In May I was involved in a 4 way automobile accident. I did not feel any except for a termendous head ache. Time went on and I was not feeling like my usual self. I decided to find a chriopractor. I found Dr. Dahl in Sausalito since I work here. Right off the bat Dr. Dahl took x-​ray of my neck and shoulder and set up time for me to be seen. Since seeing Dr. Dahl I feel even better then I have in a long time. Everytime I go in for my consult Dr. Dahl is amazed with how quickly I have bounced back to being normal! I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 11 years ago and one of the symptoms I’ve been living with for five years was bowel and bladder incontinence. I recently began working with Dr. Dahl and she adjusted me in such a way that I saw immediate improvement.
I will admit that as someone living with MS I was wary of seeing a chiropractor, but working with Dr. Dahl has completely changed that as I feel my body heal (improvement of balance, fine motor, less tingling) after each treatment.
Dr. Dahl is extremely knowledgable in not only chiropractic, but also in cutting edge alternatives such as supplements, treatments and practices that can aid healing, and she is kind and compassionate, professional and intuitive.

I started seeing Dr. Dahl about six years ago for a chronic neck problem. My days are spent hunched over a computer, but with her help, my neck rarely ‘goes out’ anymore. She’s sensitive to her patients concerns and needs, and I just can’t recommend her enough. If you’re wary of chiropractic, she’ll help educate you and then use the treatment you’re most comfortable with. Personally, I like a good cracking, but she’ll often use the activator (think tiny pogo stick) when I’m particularly out of whack, a rare occurrence these days.
But recently, a case of impingement syndrome (aka ‘bursitis’) in my left shoulder flared up badly. Honestly, it didn’t even occur to me to call Dr. Dahl. Instead I went to my GP, who referred me to a physical therapist. We went through all the exercises it would take to get me pain-​free, and I went home with a handful of diagrams and extreme pain. Fast forward a month or so later when I went in for a routine adjustment, and I was still in tremendous pain, even though I was faithfully performing the exercises. Dr. Dahl asked if she could try something. I told her I was in a lot of pain so to be gentle — this concerned her because she knows I’m a ‘push through the pain’ kind of gal — and she assured me it wouldn’t hurt.

She explained in an easy-​to-​understand way that, essentially, a tendon in my shoulder normally lives in a ‘groove’, but it had popped out. She taught me a technique to pop it back in whenever it hurt. As I got into my car in her parking lot, I moved my arm in a way that would have sent shooting pain up in for the previous month or so, but instead I felt… nothing. I couldn’t believe it had worked so fast! Within hours, I’d used the technique several times and found I had more range of motion than I’d had since the flare up. I’m now pain-​free, and can’t thank Dr. Dahl enough for quickly diagnosing the problem, and teaching me how to fix it myself.
Living with chronic pain is exhausting. If you’ve tried everything else, what do you have to lose? Nothing but the pain!

I spend my days bent over a laptop and pressed from one deadline to another and as can be expected my neck and back knot up like the Hunchback of Notre Dame. I began seeing Dr. Dahl more than five years ago and I have never taken the time to ‘bell-​ring’ some praise her way.
The atmosphere of the office is warm, soothing and friendly. Dr. Dahl is generous with her time and expertise and has a vast knowledge of many healing modalities in addition to chiropractic. She obviously deeply cares about her patient’s well being and health. Her manipulations are skillfully gentle, which is much appreciated since I’m a wimp.
