History
Established in 2012.
It all started on a boat with chef, cookbook writer and TV host, Joanne Weir, and Larry Mindel, restaurateur extraordinaire, a book called «Tequila, a Guide to Types, Flights, Cocktails and Bites» and the perfect margarita on Cinco de Mayo and the rest is a very busy, very fun Sausalito restaurant. We produce modern Mexican food using the freshest fish, farm-raised meats and poultry and organic fruits and vegetables, some from our organic garden. Using modern techniques and with integrity and respect for Mexican cuisine, our cooks produce the flavors and dishes of their mother and grandmothers. We aren’t doing Tex-Mex with big plates of rice and beans. Everything is made in-house including our house made chorizo, chipotle and tortillas. One visit and you’ll definitely return!
