Culligan specializes in water treatment and conditioning. Culligan has the largest dealer network in the world. We service residential, commercial and industrial customers. With our dedication to technology and efficiency, Culligan has paved the way to treating water for millions of people every day. We have serviced the likes of Coca-​Cola, Ford, John Deere, and IBM.

Culligan introduced the HE softener in 2010. It is the world’s most efficient softener and a Consumer’s Best Buy. No softener has surpassed the amount of testing the HE has undergone.

Drinking water is another area of expertise of Culligan. The Aqua Cleer reverse osmosis drinking water system is the most versatile platform to date. It is a residential unit that can be adapted to most water situations. It can remove common water issues such as: Nitrates/​Nitrites, Lead, Chlorine/​Chloramines, Mercury, Cryptosporidium. Add a specialty cartridge and remove pesticides, herbicides, Arsenic, VOC, and benzene.

History

Established in 1949.

W Sterling Tangley started a new venture named Culligan Soft Water in 1949. They had 12 accounts in Pierce County, Wisconsin and Dakota County, Minnesota. Eventually they would grow to purchase Stillwater, MN and Eau Claire, WI. Sterling Water would then go on to expand to Wausau, WI and Sauk Centre, MN. Sterling Water’s goal is to continue to improve and grow. The past growth can be attributed to the hard work and dedication of our employees. We are committed to integrity: doing the right thing for our customers and honesty is an essential component of everything we do. We take every precaution to have a safe work environment. Mike has been the Culligan Man for 38 years in Central Minnesota. He is a Service Technician and his desire to give world class customer performance has won him many awards. His dedication to getting the job done right has satisfied many who have admired his calm gentle spirit. Mike has been worthy to be your «Hey Culligan Man!»
