History

Established in 1989.

Drum Lessons Unlimited was founded by Saugus based drummer and author Dave Rody. His instructional book «Drum Stuff» applies a martial arts approach to drumming which results in a systematic break down of notes, beats and rhythms. After seeing the immediate success his technique produced with his students, Dave constructed a drum studio designed to accommodate beginner, intermediate, and advanced students in a professional environment on professional equipment.

Drum Lessons Unlimited founder Dave Rodenhiser, (professionally known as «Dave Rody») is a professional drummer, music instructor, and writer. Dave studied Jazz Independence with Rick Considine at The Berklee College of Music. His drum instruction book «Drum Stuff» available in print and download, offers a unique martial arts approach to drumming. Dave has been playing drums professionally for over 25 years and has been teaching for over 15 years. At Drum Lessons Unlimited Dave teaches students of all ages the technic behind his profound drumming skills. Dave provides these custom tailored drum lessons to students at home, in studio, and online.
