History

Established in 1962.

Originally built as a Dry Cleaning plant/​store Named Blue Ribbon Cleaners. In 1970 purchased by the Flanigan family of Saugerties, NY and renamed Flanigan’s Cleaners. The Flanigan family have been in the Dry Cleaning business since 1944.

Meet the Business Owner

Michael F.

Business Owner

Michael is the son of William Flanigan. William started all this as a young man in Kingston, NY as a helper, delivery boy, presser and cleaner. In 1970 William was able to purchase Blue Ribbon cleaners. Michael grew up in the business and in 1998 purchased the family business and runs it today.
