Last July my air conditioning broke down on the way to Michigan from Maine. I needed it fixed for the trip back in 85 degree heat. Ihle’s was the closest to my home so I called. Initially they said that they were booked up for the next week. I told them that I was desperate for a repair ASAP and they told me to bring it right in. It was fixed in two days for a great price. They were very nice and even fished the broken part out of the trash and explained what had broken. It’s a small shop, but they did everything right. I will definitely call them first for any mechanical problems in the future.

The folks at Ihle’s Service are THE BEST. They know automotive service, have the tools and test equipment needed to diagnose and work on today’s cars and trucks, and most of all, they always do their very best work. Don’t be deceived by what may look like an unremarkable building on Blue Star Highway next to the NAPA store. Rest assured, that it’s what’s INSIDE that counts, and what’s inside is one of the best service operations I’ve experienced in many, many years.

I was in the area visiting from Chicago when I ran over a bit of material which caused my car to make horrible noises any time we drove it. I had my car towed to Ihle who identified the problem (relatively simple) and charged me $ 40 dollars for the fix. I will definitely use them again if I am ever in need of car repair. Good customer service, finished in one day, and inexpensive. Thanks Ihle.
