History

Established in 1983.

Joseph A. Grutta, founder and CEO of J.A.G. Consulting Company (DBA JAG Financial Services), started in the financial services business in 1981 as a New York State licensed insurance agent and registered representative with Bear Sterns.

In June of 1983 Joseph formed J.A.G. Consulting Company (J.A.G.) in Franklin Square, New York. Starting with humble roots, J.A.G. operated out of a small back room in Grutta’s house with a desk made of a door across two file cabinets, a phone, a typewriter and a manual calculator.

In 1991 Joseph moved the business to Melbourne, Florida. After twenty-​two years of being a home based business J.A.G. had outgrown working from the house. In June 2005 a lease was signed for the present location at 565-​C Jackson Ave in Satellite Beach. In September of 2005 J.A.G. moved into its present home. After over thirty years in business, J.A.G. continues to serve a wide variety of individuals and small businesses with a full compliment of services.
