The World’s Attic Thrift Shop, Inc.

This place is organized and does not have a cigarette smell like some thrift stores I’ve come across. The prices were a bit higher than expected. Items that I would normally pay 1 were up. 75 to 2.00. They do have a section where there is plenty of housewares items. The jewelry was displayed neatly and tagged. Clothes were separated by size and female one side and male on another row. However, I didn’t find clothes that were more to my age. It was mostly for older ladies and they were decent brands. The clothes were clean and some looked like they were barely worm. There were some real nice men’s Polo shirts I didn’t pass up. They had a special of purchase 2 and get 1 free, so it wasn’t that bad. There ain’t no telling what u can find in these places, but I will return. I liked the organization and they have a corner stacked with crafts and knitting materials that can be useful.

Very clean and organized but fairly pricy for a thrift store. Proceeds go to a good cause though and they do have sales.

This is the best organized thrift store I’ve ever seen. They even have a section of sewing supplies where it’s all sorted into little boxes. Made it much easier to find some cool stuff. Really nice people work there, too.

OK, but definitely much pricier than the many other MCC thrift shops I’ve had the pleasure of shopping. As a result, there doesn’t seem to be as much turnover in the merchandise. I sure wish it was more like the ones up north!

We were on vacation and I like going to different thrift stores in different areas. This one sounded interesting and they had a great website. We found it easily which was a plus. Nothing exciting about the merchandise (no finds). I thought it was kind of expensive for a thrift store but they seem to have a good mission. Super organized and clean. This was a first impression and I won’t be returning so it’s a little subjective.
